I use this bundle to help my students with learning Greek and Latin root words. Lots of information in this bundle and has been very helpful with increasing my students knowledge of root words!
This was a great resource to use as study materials during our Greek Roots unit! The activities were the perfect length for short homework assignments as well. Thank you so much!
I purchased the books and PPTs of this resource years ago. I bought this because it has many more resources including didgital versions. It is very easy to use.
My students enjoyed this resource and stayed engaged.
This is a great resource for roots and affixes. It has everything you need to teach, review and test.

I would love to purchase a bundle, but am not interested in the practice pages. Is there one available to purchase without that component? Thank you!
Hi Erin! No, this is the only bundle I have for these resources. Thank you for your interest though.
We are a middle school team of LA teachers and we are considering this product. Do you have a list of the affixes and roots that are covered in the bundle?
Hi Michelle! There are word lists available in the previews of the individual items listed in my store. You will need to click on the items listed in the bundle description to get to those previews. This will allow you a closer look at all of the components of the bundle. Please email me if you need any more information. GotToTeach@icloud.com
Hello again! I need more help! I bought the resource earlier this year. Today when I tried to clip on the link from the PDF ("HERE") to go to the dropbox, I got error message 404 saying the site couldn't find what I was looking for. Is it me? Is something wrong with the site? Do the PDF links expire? Please help! The files are so big that I didn't download them all onto my computer. I hope you're having a wonderful day, and thank you again for this amazing Greek and Latin roots bundle!
Hi Abby! All of the files are now hosted on tpt, so you can access them all under "my purchases"!
Hello. I love the G&L root resources. I am wondering what your classroom routine for utilizing these resources is and how much time you spend on it. The interactive notebook and coloring may be sent home as homework, but the work packet, especially the analogies are challenging for my lower student to do independently.
Hi Yvette, I find that the best way to use this is to begin with whole group lessons where you model and discuss each of the activities. After a few weeks, the students really start grasping the format and you can begin to transfer the workload to them. Eventually, when the students are working independently on the review, you will simply spend time correcting and discussing their work in class
Hi GotToTeach,
I'm interested in this mega bundle, and would like to seek clarification for details. The product description shows this bundle only is of 5.94 Mb, which is smaller than many individual items included in this bundle. Is it a typo?
Hello! This bundle is actually over 400 mb. All
The files are hosted off site because tpt has a max file size (200 mb). The 5.94 mb that you are seeing is for the directions and link to access the files via Dropbox. Thanks for the question and please let me know if you need anything else. -Melissa
Sorry to bug you, but the click here button won't let me click here, any ideas how I can click here?
Thanks, Teresa
That is strange. Are you opening the file with the latest version of Adobe Reader? Please email me if that doesn't resolve your issue. GotToTeach@icloud.com
I just purchased this and it's amazing. So comprehensive! Just one question...I am going to be teaching this unit by unit to ESL students during a 5-hour Saturday school class. I figure we can cover 1-2 units each week, but I didn't realize that the INB pieces don't really match the units. Would you just do Unit 1 and then pull like the first 5 INB words and keep on doing that in alphabetical order? I didn't know if there was a proper approach to this. Thanks!
Hello! I would teach each unit and use the 2-3 INB activities that correspond to the roots of the unit. You can always use the blank INB templates if you'd like your students to stick to the words from the units. However, it might be helpful for your ESL students to also work with other words (the ones preselected in the INB) in order to get a broader understanding of each root's meaning. Hope this helps. Don't hesitated to ask me any other questions. :-)
Hello! Do the words in the Interactive Notebook match the words in the Get to the Root of It Books 1 and 2?
Is the "Affixes Practice Printables" basically the book with different activities for each affix?
Every root in the Books 1 and 2 have an activity in the INB. However the words vary a bit. But there are blank pages in the INB so you can use any words you like. Same goes for the Affixes book and INB.
Okay so how would you go about tackling this complete unit? What would you start with? What would be the duration of each unit? A possible scope and sequence for the year if you will? Thanks so much, I love this resource so far but I want to make sure I have a year long plan before I make the leap to purchase.
Hi Nichole! While I don't have a formal scope and sequence for this bundle I would say you could easily dedicate a week to two weeks on each unit, especially with all the supplementary materials included. You can pick and choose any units you want to teach and they don't have to be taught in order. Some people teach a unit on affixes and then follow it with a unit or two on roots.
I haven't received my email with the link to the bundle. Can you help please? Wellsj@parkerschapelschool.com, or Jwells5465@msn.com Thanks!
Hi June! I just emailed you. The instructions for accessing your files are in the product download. However, you can respond to my email with your date of purchase and TpT username and I will make sure to get your files to you immediately.
