Invaluable resource
There are very few resources I've been able to use for many years, but this one is. I teacher 3rd-5th gifted and we have been able to use with all grade levels, providing a familiar "curriculum" that flows from year to year. There is literally more here than I could ever use in one year. Best thing I've ever bought on Teachers Pay Teachers. Well worth the cost!
Very thorough!
This is a great resource for use throughout the entire school year. I enjoyed the ease of use, and my students enjoyed growing their vocabularies!
Worth purchasing
I wrestled with whether to buy this or not... and I am glad that I did. I understand the cost of this product is high, but it is worth buying, especially since everything is planned for you. This bundle contains a large number of items. I mainly use the worksheets, PowerPoint presentations, and doodle notes. I also like the Google Version of the bundle.
Excellent reasource
Used this in conjunction with another resources. Was an excellent resource with greek and latin roots.
Looks amazing!
I have bought and printed this out for the upcoming homeschool year and it looks amazing! I am really excited to use it and that usually translates to my kids being interested in something too. It is the right mix of predictable tasks (so I don't have to spend tons of time explaining directions) and unique activities to keep the kids and me interested (each interactive notbook piece is unique in design). I'll be using it with my 10th grader primarily but I anticipate my 5th grader being able to complete it with us. I'll update my review if I have any further observations throughout the year.

Are there preassessments included in this bundle? I'd like to offer my students the option to test out of word parts that they've already mastered.
Thanks for reaching out! No, there aren’t any pre-assessments included with this bundle.
Hi, I would like to purchase your book one practice. However, I teach in a school that is distance learning only. Do you have a google format of this that I can purchase?
Hi there! Yes, we do have a digital version of Book 1! Here is the link: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Greek-and-Latin-Roots-Book-1-DIGITAL-5351808
Hello, I have been using your units for years now, but this is my first year doing the Greek and Latin unit. I have been loving it, but all of a sudden, there are lots of missing words in the interactive notebook, for example unit 11 is bi/du/amphi/ambi and there isn't interactive notebook components for bi and du. Am I missing them? I looked ahead and I am not seeing any of the words for the next unit. Please help!
Hi Cassie! Thanks for reaching out! Ambi/amphi are included in the INB. However, bi and du are not.
I purchased the practice pages awhile ago. I would like to upgrade to the bundle, is this possible to do without paying for the one piece again?
Yes, if you purchase the bundle, TpT will refund you for any of the individual items you have already purchased within the last 365 days. Hello! Is it possible to split these units across Grades 3,4, and 5?
Hi Margaret! Thanks for reaching out! Yes, this bundle can be used across several grade levels!
I may be overlooking but are there any pages that have the answers? We homeschool and I sometimes need family members to help out when I am unavailable. Would really love for them to be able to help with questions and answers.
Thanks for reaching out! All of the answer keys are included in each individual resource PDF. They are located immediately after the student pages in the PDFs. All of the digital google forms resources are self-grading.
I love all your Greek and Latin products and I want to buy the Interactive notebooks next, however I am having trouble finding a good way to organize these for use in my classroom. Can you share how you organized these in your classroom?
Hello! I’m not really sure what you mean by organizing? Are you referring to the actual notebooks? Teachers usually have students store their INBs in their desks.
I have been using your Greek Units and connected materials for three years with students who need additional reading support in grades 3-8, particularly those who have difficulty decoding multisyllable words. They are great materials for many reasons!!! I recently purchased your Build-A-Word game as it correlates with what I have been doing with word building activities in lessons connected to each of your Greek Units. I would very much like to use this game to reinforce specific words in each weekly unit I have used and enhanced. Can I have permission to edit the roots card page of this game so that I can more easily organize review games for my kids? They need reinforcement of the specific words and decoding patterns introduced and practiced weekly. Thanks so much for all of your hard work. Your Greek/Latin morphology materials have opened up a whole new way for me to effectively service the needs of a significant number of my students each year. Christi Burger
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an editable version of this resource because it was created using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. Also, we are prohibited from providing editable versions of resources that contain commercial graphics.
Are any components of the digital unit printable? Specifically the interactive notes or workbook pages??
Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry, what do you mean by "are any components of the unit printable?" Every piece of this bundle has printable versions, except, of course, for the PowerPoints. The Interactive Notebook and Sketch Notes are only available as printables, as they are explicitly designed to be used as a printable resource.
Some of the analogies are difficult to understand even for me! Is there an explanation behind the correct answers? I want to be able to support my students but even I'm stumped on some of the answers.
If you have any specific questions regarding the analogies, you can email us at info@teacherthrive.com
