Description
Greek and Latin Roots! Almost 70% of the English language is derived from Latin and Greek languages. When students learn these “building blocks” it becomes easy for them to recognize and decode unfamiliar words that are related to a known root. It is also increasingly important to explicitly teach students the meanings of Greek and Latin roots as they encounter the very technical vocabulary found in science and other content areas.

I love how many different ways students have to apply their knowledge of the word. It forces them to think about the root and the words in many different ways to find each answer.

I basically own the entire vocabulary bundle, I bought the sketch notes, worksheets and ppts--everything but the affixes (which I currently have in my cart). Where is the digital version? It said it's now included but I can't find it on with book 1 or 2. I redownloaded to make sure I had the most current version.

The digital versions are sold separately unless you own the bundle.
If you have purchased all of these resources, you may consider purchasing the bundle. You could use the PowerPoints or sketch notes for additional support.

Does this resource include a suggested lesson plan or daily routine included? If not, do you have any suggestions? How many minutes do you teach the roots each day?
Each unit contains 6+ exercises. You can spend one day on each exercise, or you can cover more than one exercise in a day if you want to spend one week on each unit.
