We are using this resource to help our student prepare for SBAC's and they are very helpful with summarizing. They also are useful for homework.
I wish I could get my money back. It repeats itself over and over. So many language concepts are left out. I wouldn't have purchased it if I knew that ahead of time.
We are sorry to hear this, Joanne. We do provide two weeks of material in the preview file so that teachers can assess if this resource will be a good fit. The repetition is part of the spiral review format, which helps students retain the concepts.
This does not connect with google slides or my classroom.
Upon opening this resource, I noticed that the resource itself varied from the preview that was presented. the topics are highly specific, and the pages require intricate cutting and gluing. However, instructions on how to do so to pass our to students or even for myself are not provided. Instead, there is a one sentence summary and small photo of what the completed page should look like. I am extremely unhappy with this purchase, and I wish I could return it. The amount of time needed to decipher, sort, and create instructions for each page makes this more trouble than if I had not bought it in the first place.
This resource is definitely not worth the cost. The pages are simply scanned in with a Google form as an add-on. The Google Form is not student-friendly. I wasted $20 and still have to create my own resources for students. I have never in all my years of purchasing from TpT been so disappointed in a product.

Hello. You do not need a password to open the file. Please open with Adobe reader.
So all the cards in deck 1, set 1 would go in the fish pond face down? If I had aqua in my hand I would ask "Do you have water?" If the answer was no, I would draw a card? Then if a student had aqua in their hand and drew water, they would put them both down as a pair? Could it be used as concentration too?
Hello, Amy! Yes, the game would be played just as you described, and yes, they could be used to play concentration.
Are there directions in the final product for how to play with these cards besides that it’s a Go Fish game, or can you share how you use it? I did see the suggestion to print back sides in two different colors but am not sure how to accomplish that either.
Thanks for reaching out! Yes, there are explicit instructions in the full resource.
Are there blank cards to add your own roots/words to?
Thanks for reaching out! There is not.
How should I set this file up to print? Is the black and white page the back to all the other cards? There just wasn't clarification in the direction. Thanks in advance!
Hello! Yes, the black and white page are for the backside of each card.
How do you play the game? Is it a matching game?
Hello! It's similar to "go fish." There are different size decks students can play with to increase/decrease difficulty.
