Description
Greek and Latin roots! Almost 70% of the English language is derived from Latin and Greek languages. When students learn these “building blocks” it becomes easy for them to recognize and decode unfamiliar words that are related to a known root. It is also increasingly important to explicitly teach students the meanings of Greek and Latin roots as they encounter the very technical vocabulary found in science and other content areas.

My daughter found this worksheet very useful and we frequently practice to increase her vocabulary.
This was a great way to introduce and integrate structured morphology lessons with my pull-out special education class.
This was a great resource to help my teenager with studying word parts and meanings.
This is a great resource, but the morphology I was teaching did not match up with the sheets in this product. For example, the sheets had extra word parts that our curriculum did not cover so I had to cross them out or skip them when we did them as a class.
Activities are organized and ready to use. Makes planning a breeze.
