This is one of my all-time favorite resources from TPT. It's 100 times better than any published book I've seen on the subject. My students were so engaged and challenged by the weekly activities ... especially the analogies. I am moving to 2nd grade this year, and I am so sad to not be able to use this program this year.
I love that the weekly units cover 3 roots that are related to each other, and provides vocabulary words with definitions to practice the roots as well as worksheet activities. I pair this resource with the book 1 powerpoint that is also available to purchase. Together, they make teaching Greek/Latin roots a lot easier.
I used this resource with my students as Greek and Latin Roots are part of the HSPT as well as the standards. This was a great resource, easy to use and the students found it very helpful. I will be using it a little differently this year but will definitely be using again along with the analogies unit as they compliment each other well. I have a few resources from this seller and have found them very comprehensive and easy to use covering many of the required standards. Thank you.
