* Most Tangram manipulatives are 4 inches, which means when you arrange the 7 shapes in to a square, each side of the square is 4 inches long. The full-size puzzles in this resources are designed to perfectly fit 4-inch Tangram sets. You can still use other size sets, but they will not match up perfectly. Some teachers prefer that the sizes do not match up, as this requires students to further engage spatial reasoning skills, which is why I have also included the smaller Tangram cards.

Love, love love! I work in Special Education and gave these puzzles out to those done with HW in resource lab. I must admit this was very difficult for them. However, although they would never admit it, they were so engaged and had fun using these puzzles! They were especially excited when they finally got all the pieces to fit together, haha. I like that the pdf is differentiated, you can use the small pieces (which was too hard for them) or you can use the bigger pictures where they can place the pieces on top! I'll be coming back for the fraction set when we get there!

I purchased this product and will be using the larger version pages with my students. However, I don't see a page with a copy of the large tangram pieces that I can print and laminate for my students to use. I just see the small versions. Is that included somewhere and I'm just not seeing it? Thank you. G. Sustachek
Hi Gretchen,
I only include the 4-inch tangrams, since all of the cards are sized for them. You can still use your larger tangrams, they just won't line up perfectly with the cards.
This is missing the last 5 large 4 inch tangram frames, number 71 to 75.
Sorry about that! I am not sure how that happened. They have been added.
