Description
Tangrams present your students with an engaging, hands-on way to develop the following skills:
•spatial reasoning
•critical thinking
•problem solving
•understanding of geometry concepts (congruence, similarity, symmetry, rotation, transformation, reflection, attributes of polygons, etc.)
These puzzles are perfect for math centers, fast-finishers, and cooperative learning. Your students will LOVE them!
Included in this resource:
•75 unique full-size Tangram puzzles that will perfectly fit your 4-inch* Tangram manipulatives
•75 smaller Tangram cards (identical to the full-size puzzles), for adding another element of difficulty
•printable 4-inch Tangram manipulatives in various colors and black and white
•an answer key for all 75 puzzles
* Most Tangram manipulatives are 4 inches, which means when you arrange the 7 shapes in to a square, each side of the square is 4 inches long. The full-size puzzles in this resources are designed to perfectly fit 4-inch Tangram sets. You can still use other size sets, but they will not match up perfectly. Some teachers prefer that the sizes do not match up, as this requires students to further engage spatial reasoning skills, which is why I have also included the smaller Tangram cards.

I can not get this file to download and I am so disappointed as I really want to use it. It will only copy the first couple pages and that is it.
This is not a spiral review. The weekly content has standards that have not yet been covered. Students can't have homework on things that they haven't learned yet.
<p>This resource is not designed around a particular scope and sequence since many teachers follow different timelines.</p><p>Since Daily Spiral Reviews cover all standards, students are exposed to concepts they may not have had formal instruction on. Unfamiliar content presents a great opportunity for you to build background knowledge and assess where your students are before you even teach a specific lesson.</p><p>The best way to use this spiral reveiw is to begin with whole-group lessons where you model and discuss each activity. I don't worry too much if there haven't been formal lessons on a particular concept; I treat those items more as a preview. After a few weeks, the students really start grasping the format, and you can begin to transfer the workload to them. Eventually, when the students work independently on the review, you will spend time correcting and discussing their work in class. </p><p>As mentioned above, students will encounter concepts they are unfamiliar with. This is a GOOD thing, I promise! We don't always have the answers or know the procedures to solve problems. There is a problem with this resource. I purchased the digital version. However, there is no link for me to click on that gives me access to the documents virtually. I'm reaching out to the seller, please provide some guidance or refund me if possible? Thank you so much.
It was a good resource, but the inability to make any edits in the .PDF made sharing it digitally with the class nearly impossible. Very disappointed with this aspect. Good resource but this is a glaring issue.
The content was too hard for third grade. There needs to be a build in content and foundation. The skills were way over most of my students heads.
Also this is a rip off to not include the answer key with the questions. Why are you having people buy two separate things.

I purchased this product and will be using the larger version pages with my students. However, I don't see a page with a copy of the large tangram pieces that I can print and laminate for my students to use. I just see the small versions. Is that included somewhere and I'm just not seeing it? Thank you. G. Sustachek
Hi Gretchen,
I only include the 4-inch tangrams, since all of the cards are sized for them. You can still use your larger tangrams, they just won't line up perfectly with the cards.
This is missing the last 5 large 4 inch tangram frames, number 71 to 75.
Sorry about that! I am not sure how that happened. They have been added.
