3rd Grade Grammar Bundle | Grammar Worksheets, Units, Practice & Assessments
Angie D.

I was disappointed with this resource as it did not meet my expectations. For instance, it lacked coverage of collective nouns, which I was hoping to find. The content felt repetitive, with the same assessment structure (identify the parts of speech in 10 short sentences) that left the children bored and disengaged. Additionally, it was lacking in explicit instructions. Overall, the material was incomplete and did not justify the cost, especially considering the unfavourable exchange rate with the Australian dollar. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this bundle given its high price and limited value.

Teacher Thrive

<p>Hello, Angie. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. You are correct; this resource does not cover collective nouns as this is not a third-grade standard in the US. I make every effort to communicate exactly what topics are included (which are listed in the description). I have also included detailed thumbnails and preview files for each unit in this bundle to help teachers determine if this resource will be a good fit for them. </p>

I was unable to use this product. First, I wasn’t able to print it because it wasn’t made to fit the whole page. The bundle was all the same unavailable to print. Please send me another copy or refund my money. Thank you

So all the cards in deck 1, set 1 would go in the fish pond face down? If I had aqua in my hand I would ask "Do you have water?" If the answer was no, I would draw a card? Then if a student had aqua in their hand and drew water, they would put them both down as a pair? Could it be used as concentration too?

Teacher Thrive

Hello, Amy! Yes, the game would be played just as you described, and yes, they could be used to play concentration.

Tonya H.

Are there directions in the final product for how to play with these cards besides that it’s a Go Fish game, or can you share how you use it? I did see the suggestion to print back sides in two different colors but am not sure how to accomplish that either.

Teacher Thrive

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, there are explicit instructions in the full resource.

Shannon L.

Are there blank cards to add your own roots/words to?

Teacher Thrive

Thanks for reaching out! There is not.

Melissa O

How should I set this file up to print? Is the black and white page the back to all the other cards? There just wasn't clarification in the direction. Thanks in advance!

Teacher Thrive

Hello! Yes, the black and white page are for the backside of each card.

Christina M.

How do you play the game? Is it a matching game?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! It's similar to "go fish." There are different size decks students can play with to increase/decrease difficulty.
