I've used all of Teacher Thrives greek/latin worksheets. These are the same format. Easy to follow, easy to expand on. I use these as weekly spelling. I like the variety of exercises that are included. Occasionally the analogies are a little tricky or obtuse, but for the most part everything is understandable. I use this for 4th grade, (8 year old) but my daughter is advanced in language, so maybe more appropriate for 5th grade. I do not use the powerpoints, so I don't know how much they would enhance the whole experience. I like that there are also additional word lists to incorporate. I did purchase the interactive notebooks, but my daughter is much more workbook receptive. I love the interactive notebooks though... just a personal learning style difference. At this rate, I think we will go through these pretty quickly. There are so many more terrific roots, I hope that you'll make more root books.
Exceptional resource to help teach these skills.
This bundle has been very useful. Once the students understand the format, they enjoy learning the affixes and like the consistent routine of the lesson practice. Very beneficial product.
The seller also created a Root Word Study which I purchased-buy it! This is a fantastic addition to my ELA curriculum and aligns with the CCSS.

This is brilliant! I was looking for a packet that was as complete as possible and this one sure is! My intention is to use it with my more advanced EFLs as it will turn out an excellent tool for them.
I do have one question though.....Is there an answer key to all exercises within this packet?

Hello! There are word and definition match cards (concentration game) for the Affix printables. Are those what you are referring to? All of the extra materials that are in my Get to the Root of It Books are also included with the Affix Practice Printables.
