Prefixes and Suffixes Sketch Notes Morphology
Noelle H.

Clever Visual Approach, But Not My Favorite

The sketch-note style brings a creative visual twist to prefixes and suffixes, which I can appreciate in theory. However, the doodle-heavy format isn’t quite my cup of tea. The content seems well-designed and could work well for visual learners, but personally, it didn't click with me.

Creative Concept, Just Not My Jam

The visual layout and doodle-style sketch notes are undeniably creative and well-executed, but the heavily visual format still didn’t resonate with my preferences. I appreciate the effort behind it and can see how it might engage visual learners, yet, personally, it didn’t click for me.

Greek and Latin Roots Sketch Notes Morphology: Book 1

Creative Concept, But Not Quite for Me

The sketch notes are a creative approach and seem to work well for visual learners, but the doodle-heavy format just isn’t my style. The content is solid, and I can see the appeal for some classrooms, but overall it didn’t really win me over.

5th Grade Daily MATH Spiral Review Morning Work [Editable] Test Prep
Andrea B.

Would recommend for 6th grade

I purchased this as 5th grade homework/morning work, however even the first few weeks cover things like exponents, multiplying and dividing decimals, etc. that we will not get to until later in the year. I think it would work well for 6th grade as it reviews 5th material.

Teacher Thrive

Hello, Andrea! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

This resource is not designed around a particular scope and sequence since many teachers follow different timelines.

Since Daily Spiral Reviews cover all standards, students are exposed to concepts they may not have had formal instruction on. Unfamiliar content presents a great opportunity for you to build background knowledge and assess where your students are before you even teach a specific lesson.

The best way to use this spiral review is to begin with whole-group lessons where you model and discuss each activity. I don't worry too much if there haven't been formal lessons on a particular concept; I treat those items more as a preview. After a few weeks, the students really start grasping the format, and you can begin to transfer the workload to them. Eventually, when the students work independently on the review, you will spend time correcting and discussing their work in class.

As mentioned above, students will encounter concepts they are unfamiliar with. This is a GOOD thing, I promise! We don't always have the answers or know the procedures to solve problems. It's healthy to expose students to "unknowns"; they become less sensitive to the uncomfortable feeling of "not knowing" and are less likely to panic.

However, you can always use the editable version (open in PowerPoint) to remove/change any review items you like. Thanks for reaching out!

3rd Grade Problem and Solution Nonfiction Text Reading Comprehension Passages

Nonfiction Problem and Solution Resource for Advanced or Upper Elementary Students

I tried using this nonfiction problem and solution resource with my third graders. It has great materials, but it’s definitely better suited for more advanced students or upper elementary. With some modifications, it could work well for younger learners too.

Hello,
I would love this in digital format but not sure I will be able to download on school computers since students do not have access to google. Students currently use Microsoft surface.

Teacher Thrive

Hello, Shakia.

You can still use this w/o Google Classroom. Here's a tutorial to help you out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhUEWsAIoGU

Charlene M.

Hi,
Today I accidently purchased the hard copy, but wanted the digital. Is there a way to get a refund so I can purchase the digital? I have not used or printed the hard copy yet? Scouts honor.

Teacher Thrive

Hello! If you haven't downloaded the hard copy file, TpT will refund you. Just reach out to them, and as soon as they verify that it hasn't been downloaded, they will refund you.

F jane Y.

Hi, may I know if it is possible to edit the spelling on the forms and work to reflect British spelling?

Thanks

faith

Teacher Thrive

Hello. The Google Forms are editable for the most part. However, there are some snippets of text included on the forms that are not editable.

Deborah H.

I purchased the hardcopy format of this for grade 4-5-6 plus the weekly assessments. Now that we have gone to remote teaching, I would like to continue using this in the digital format. Other sellers have made both formats available for the original purchase. Is yours an additional purchase for the same material?

Teacher Thrive

Thanks for reaching out. These are separate resources as the digital versions take 100s of hours to create. Many digital resources out there are simply an image of a worksheet/printable embedded into a Google Slide with blank text boxes pasted on top of them. Creating digital resources in this manner is a simple process that only takes a few hours, and you are more than welcome to adapt the printable version as described for your personal use. Our digital versions are all created in Google Forms, so teachers can save time using the self-grading feature, which is not available in Google Slides. As mentioned above, creating Google Forms is very labor and time-intensive, so we decided to list these separately. You are more than welcome to use the printable versions you own to create your own Google Forms to use with your students only.

Sandy W.

I bought the paper/pencil version of this back a few years ago. Is there anyway I can get the digital copy without having to repay?

Heather O.

If we purchased the paper version, is there an upgrade for that one for the digital, or do we have to purchase the digital for another $20?

Teacher Thrive

Hello Heather! Yes, these are separate purchases. There is a sale tomorrow though, so they will be 25% off.

Kelsey Luebbert

I just purchased this product yesterday and saw the handbook tab on the excel document, however, there is only the first week in the google slides. Where can I find the rest of the weeks? Thanks!

Teacher Thrive

The handbook covers the entire year. There isn’t a page for each week.

Raven D.

Do you have the same google form in Reading as well?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Raven,

I don't at this time.

Melissa

Lora M.

Do you offer any type of discounts for those that already purchased your paper version?

Teacher Thrive

Unfortunately, there is no way for me to do that on TpT. I did discount them when they were first posted to help offset the cost of people who may have purchased the printable version.

Heidi C.

I purchased this product because I own the printable form. I see it mentions the handbook in Google Slides version but I'm not sure where to find it. Can you help please?

Teacher Thrive

Hi there! Please look at the bottom the spreadsheet. It’s in a separate tab.
