It's a Teacher Thing

I love how specific this is to the grade level. Thank you for creating a quality product that simplifies my workload.

Kaitlin O.

Can't wait to use this fall!

This is my second year using interactive notebooks in my 6th grade language arts class. I LOVE this resource! So many great pieces! Thank you!

Nicole C.

Love the options! Super excited that this resource is grade 6. So many options are several grade levels.

Is there a suggested order or pacing for the different interactive notebook entries? I always struggle with what part of grammar to teach first!

Teacher Thrive

Thanks for reaching out! I recommend that they be taught in the order they appear!

Hello! I am looking to purchase this resource along with the "6th Grade Spiral Review" and "6th Grade Language Assessments", however, I am confused on how these three resources are supposed to be utilized together (or if this item is a stand-alone that takes the standards/topics at an entirely different pace). How would you use these three resources in a typical school week?

Teacher Thrive

Thanks for reaching out! The two resources go together. The Spiral Review is M-Th and the Assessments are Friday quizzes.

Rachel C.

Hi! I love this resource (I have the 7th grade one too). Do you have plans to turn it into a digital/ Google compatable INB? If not, do you have a digital grammar resource(s) for 6th grade in the works?
Thanks for the awesome work!

Teacher Thrive

Hello! Thanks for reaching out. We do not plan on making this a digital resource, as they are designed to be used as a printable resource. The Interactive Notebook activities really are intended to be a tactile learning tool. Our spiral review and assessments are available digitally here: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Teacher-Thrive/PreK-12-Subject-Area/Grammar/Grade-Level/Sixth/Category/DIGITAL-Resources-431947?ref=filter/subject

I am a huge fan of your notebook resources!! Can you please make editing changes to the following:
1. Simple sentences notes: "An independent clause is a group of words that (h)as at..."
2. Complex sentence notes: "A complex sentence is compose(d) of..."

Also, I am curious if you have considered adding notes about reflexive pronouns to this resource. It could either be added to the notes about intensive pronouns or it could be its own resource. I have had to make shift notes about these in the past, but I would love a consistent style of notes for reflexive pronouns that my students can add to their notebooks.

Teacher Thrive

Hello! I corrected the missing 's' on the simple sentence notes. I didn't see the missing "d" on the complex sentence notes, however.

We don't have plans to add reflexive pronouns at the moment, but I will consider it for a future update.

I just purchase the grade 6 and grade 7 copies of the grammar notebooks. I love how the color pops in your sample. Do you recommend printing the entire notebook at one time? And how complicated does it get printing some activities on color paper?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! We assemble them with different color paper to make the instruction pages a little easier to follow. However, you can copy the pages on different colors and then have your students trade pages so they can use multiple colors. The easiest way is to print on white paper and then have the students use highlighters to color

Brandy C.

Any chance you're creating digital copies of these grammar interactive notebooks to be used with Google Classroom?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Brandy,

We don't have plans at this time to create digital versions of the INBs.

Laura D.

Love the clean presentation of this product. I bought it even though I have others! The only thing that some of the others have and this notebook does not is a chart that indicates which standard is addressed in each lesson. I know that I can figure this out myself, but the ease of copying right onto the board is hanging me up. Any chance this is out there somewhere already? Thanks so much!

Teacher Thrive

This resource is organized based on topics and not standards since some states don’t follow the CC.

Lee G.

Do you have any plans on adding a powerpoint to go with each lesson. I use your 5th grade units and love the format.

Teacher Thrive

Hi Lee,

While I would love to create more grammar units for 6th grade, I don't have immediate plans to do so.

Rebekah S.

I see you have an interactive notebook for 6th and 7th, it do you have for 8th?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! I don’t have one for 8th at this time.

Read Write Teach ELA

Me again...haha...do you have any type of assessment that goes well with this?

Teacher Thrive

Hi! I don't have an assessment for this particular resource.
