Carol A.

Hello,
Do you have a grammar INB for 8th grade?

Thanks!
Carol Allen

Teacher Thrive

Hi Carol! I don’t have that one yet. I hope to get to it later next year.

Kristina G.

I’d like to purchase this item but there is no prompt to buy it?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Kristina! In the upper right you should see a red button that says “add to cart.” If you are still having difficulties, please contact tpt. https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Contact

Brittany B.

Will you be creating an interactive notebook for 8th grade?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Brittany! Yes, I will. I plan to work on that before or while I am making my full-year curriculum for 8th-grade grammar. It is several months out though.

Keri S.

Would you recommend teaching the INB lessons and then begin the 5-a-day? Or can I begin the 5-a-day and do 1 INB lesson a week?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! I personally prefer to start the spiral review right away, even if formal lessons on the various topics have yet to be taught. This allows you to preview content with students and assess learning throughout the year. The first few weeks should be spent completing the review whole-group, where you model and think-aloud the process of completing each item. Soon the students will catch on and take off.

Buyer

How thoroughly does this cover roots and affixes? What about analogies? I'm looking for something that is somewhat in-depth in those topics.

Teacher Thrive

Hello! Roots/Affixes and analogies can be pretty content-dense. The two INB activities for topics are pretty thorough, but are by no means meant to contain year-long content. I am more than happy to send you a picture of the two complete pages for your review. Just email me at GotToTeach@icloud.com

Chelsea M.

Hi there! Any update on the 8th grade version? This would be perfect for my students!

Teacher Thrive

Hi Chelsea! I will be making one, I just don't know when exactly I will get to it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Erin M.

Do your three products (7th grade Language Interactive Grammar Notebook, 7th grade 5-A-Day Review, and the Weekly Assessments) all work together in conjunction with one another? Do the skills covered in Week 1 of the Review and the Assessment coordinate with the order of the interactive notebook? I am looking forward to using these resources. Thank you!

Teacher Thrive

Hi Erin! The review and weekly assessments align perfectly. These two resources spiral, so they hit several concepts/standards each week. The INB teaches the same concepts in the reviews and assessments. However, the INB presents one topic at a time.

Serena S.

Hi. I'm a homeschool mom of a soon to be 7th grader, and was wondering how this would work for a grammar curriculum? Also wondering if the 7th grade 5 a day works with this, or if this needs to be done first. Thanks.

Teacher Thrive

Hello! You can definitely use this for a complete grammar curriculum. The 5-a-Day review can be used simultaneously and provides more practice of the skills.

Nichole W.

Do you plan on making one for 8th grade anytime soon?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Nichole! I do have plans to make one for 8th grade. I will begin making it after the first of the year, and it should be completed by the end of February. Thank you for your patience.

Stuck in the Rising Action

Hi! I'm working with the figurative language pages of this product. I use option 2 with a composition book. Is the simile section missing? Or am I not understanding where I'm supposed to find it from? I see it on a page labeled option 1, but not the other. Thank you!

Teacher Thrive

Hi Kaitlyn! It most certainly was missing?! My apologies. I have upload an updated version. Thank you for letting me know.
