This interactive notebook system is a great way to help make grammar instruction more engaging. Thank you for putting this together.
I bought all the interactive notebooks for my respective grades and before I teach a new concept we first do the notebook activity and then we move on to worksheets etc. My learners love this resource and they refer back to it during lesson time. We'll worth the money.
No regrets about buying this resource. It got the point across to my slow and reluctant learners.
I think there are a lot of good things here, and we use it, but there could be more depth. It is just the pages so you have to build in everything else.

I saw back in 2016 you mentioned that you had plans to make one for 8th grade. Is this still happening? I teach 6th-8th and would love to continue the notebooks with them through the years as a grammar handbook.

I would like to know if there are specific lesson plans to correspond with the notebook pages or are these activities that I would need to build content for or around? Also, are there any additional worksheets, practice/review materials, or quiz/assessment options included? It looks really amazing and I wanted to be certain it is fully laid out and sequenced curriculum, ready to implement before I purchase. Thank you!
Hi Kara! This is a full year of notetaking exercises for grammar. The Interactive Notebook is designed to be used in conjunction with the 7th Grade Daily Language Spiral Review. The spiral review and the INB both cover the same standards. However, the INB presents each topic separately, while the spiral review presents multiple topics a day. On page 94, there is a missing word in the sentence: Do you how to sing the National Anthem? It should state, Do you (know) how to sing the National Anthem?
I printed out page 94, but after passing them out to students I quickly noticed that the sentences in the top right corner of the larger charts are not the same. Both sentences are about the National Anthem, but they are not the same. Since the other sentences are the same/consistent, can you please edit one of these National Anthem sentences so it matches the other? This was confusing when doing notes with my students since half of them had a different sentence that also had a missing word.
I would appreciate the fix. Thank you!

How do you use this with the daily Spiral review and language assessments. I have 90 minutes 4x a week for ELA. I was hoping to use the Daily Spiral Review as my Language curriculum and teach mini lessons as needed. Then I saw the IN Grammar bundle and am wondering if they go together.

Hello. Sorry, this is not available in a smaller bundle. Each topics comes with an INB activity. Each INB activity includes detailed pictures on how to complete and assemble. Sample answers are provided for more technical topics.
