Description
Time to Tile: Finding Multiples is a hands-on activity that takes students’ thinking beyond procedures and rote memorization. This engaging resource activates critical thinking and problem-solving skills, all while building a true understanding of multiples. Students must place 10 number tiles (0-9) on the Time to Tile cards in order to correctly complete three multiple columns. Cards 1-15 have multiples that are in consecutive order (e.g., 6: 18, 24, 30). Cards 16-30 are a bit more challenging as they have multiples that are not in consecutive order (e.g., 6: 12, 36, 54). Students who have yet to master all of their multiplication facts can also have great success with this resource by using a 12 x 12 multiplication table as an aide.
This resource is now provided in printable and digital formats (Google Slides).
This resource includes:
•30 different Time to Tile cards
•An “Answer Recording Sheet,” where students can record their answers so they can be corrected later. This allows the resource to be used as a perfect independent or center activity.
•Answer keys
•Management and organization tips for successfully implementing Time to Tile in your classroom.

I bought this for my special education students and it was way to hard!
My biggest complaint is that intensive pronouns are not correct in the packet. I would prefer to have a review of all the different pronouns instead of the same one each time. Same for most of the other things. It's great for a few weeks, but the same skills over and over don't push my students to learn other relevant skills needed for 6th grade
Hello! I am not sure what you referring to in regards to the intensive pronouns. Please feel free to email me info@teacherthrive.com, and I would be happy to help.
Love the content! Tasks are daunting to students unless worked through together.
I purchased this and although thorough with great graphics, I just couldn't figure out how to incorporate the material into my everyday lessons or even weekly lessons. It's almost too much :) I will try to use my summer to figure that out.
This is a nicely put together little package with instructions for the students to understand roles. The size of the resource is deceptive; you have two each of all the templates.

I love using this set of tile pages and so do my students. However, unlike some of your other tile sets I've used in the past, it seems like some of the pages may have more than one correct answer. Are there specific rules that students must follow in order to "correctly" solve the pages? (Other than, of course, having the correct multiples under the correct factors)
Hi Grace! For several of my math tiles, there may be 2-3 variations of answers. As far as "rules", the multiples are all in ascending order, though not necessarily in consecutive order.
