After all the ranting and raving about INB, I purchased this product. I just don't have the time for all the cutting and glueing that is involved with INBs. I wish there was a Quick Notes version similar to Lovin Lit's QuickNotes for her INBs.
I taught 6th grade and used the 6th grade version with great success. So when I had a 5/6 combo I purchased the 5th grade version. However, I found this to be very hard for my 5th graders. I will not use for 5th grade.
This was a very good resource. It was repetitive and didn’t spiral as much as I would have liked, but when used in conjunction with other spiral resources, it was a gem!
The Depth and Complexity Mega Bundle was a bit deceiving. The Author of this project only used a few of Sandra Kaplan's prompts symbols. Some the illustrations used for the prompts do not match Sandra Kaplan's. We are mandated as a Gifted/Talented School, to implement Sandra Kaplan's Curriculum. The Author should have made that clear when the buyer "previews" her project. I would not have purchased it, had I know the illustrations do not match. Hilda Marino
Hi Hilda. All of the preview images and thumbnails clearly show the icons that are used. I am not sure which previews you’re referring to that confused you on what is included.
I wish there was a teacher's copy of this set, but it's a well put together resource for the students!

Does this source also address how colons and semi-colons play into things?
Hello! This particular unit does not differentiate between colons and semi-colons. However, this unit from the 4th-grade set does: https://teacherthrive.com/product/fourth-grade-grammar-punctuation/.
