These look great. Can't wait for my group of GATE students to try them this year.
Going to use these right away!
This is an absolutely amazing resource! I can't wait to begin using this at the start of the year! I love that I can focus on teaching and using the icons since the fairy tales are familiar. I plan to use our leveled library to give students a version of the fairy tale on their reading level. Implementing this during literacy will set the stage for depth and complexity to become the framework across all content areas. This is one of the all-time best purchases I have made on TpT! Thank you for creating such an amazing, powerful resource!
Very good resource I used to help get my kids excited about their summer reading project!
Awesome!

These do not include sample answers since the questions are so open-ended. Most of the questions can be answered in multiple, and even conflicting, ways.
Could you make a depth and complexity novel study for the book "Ungifted"?
Hi Natalie! Thanks for your interest! I don't have plans to create this at this time, but I will keep this in mind for future projects.
Is there any way to make this digital so that my students can fill it in directly on Google Classroom rather than printing it out?
Hi Erika,
Unfortunately, we are not able to create the digital versions of these at this time. You are more than welcome to use the printable versions you own to create your own Google Slides to use with your students only.
is this resource usable with other books?? can I apply it to any book we are reading or is it only specific to Tuck Everlasting??
Hi Zeinab! This is only for Tuck Everlasting. If you are looking for a more universal resource, you may want to check out this: https://teacherthrive.com/product/depth-and-complexity-task-cards-for-literature/
This downloaded as only one page with clip art.
Hi! Please make sure you are opening and printing the file from the latest version of Adobe reader.
I just wanted to let you know that the cover page is for Tuck Everlasting, but the description is for The Giver :-)
Thanks, Danielle, for letting me know!! I just fixed it.
