This is amazing! I am using this in both 7th and 8th grades this year. I wish these were available for 9th - 12th grades too. This is by far the best resource I have ever used in my classroom for grammar. THANK YOU!
I use this every day! Great product!
I really love this product. It is a challenge for my students, but they are starting to understand concepts I haven't been able to get across to them in other methods.
Hi Kelly! After several weeks you'll be amazed by the growth. It will get much easier for them as they become more familiar with format and concepts. Thanks for the feedback!
Great Resource. Thank you.
AWESOME!

Due to the current situation with distance learning, do you allow teachers to post the sheets in their Google Classroom in which only their students can access? I love this product and own the 6th, 7th and 8th grade versions! I currently only teach 8th grade.
Hi Debbie,
You may use any of my materials online with your students only on a private plattform like Google Classroom.
Hi! I love using Daily Language in my classroom. Is it possible to make this into a digital resource? :)
Hello! I don't have a digital version of this resource.
Started using this last year. Great resource! I was wondering if you have created a lesson that goes over each of the days? Something to use when teaching students about gerunds and such for the first time. A PowerPoint or anything else.
Hello! No, I don’t have anything like that.
I love this, but I am teaching in an online classroom next year. Do you have any plans to make this a Google Doc resource?
I’ve looked into making this a Google Form, but the tasks don’t lend themselves to multiple choice (or other question options in Google Forms).
The preview shows "Handbook (book 8). Is there one handbook per week or does one handbook span multiple weeks?
There is just one handbook. It covers the topics for the entire 36 week review.
Does it include an answer key?
Yes, it does.
I'm very interested in purchasing this resources. We have 1:1 Chromebooks, and I'd really like to do this digitally. Our district doesn't let us use any annotation extensions, so PDF won't work. You mentioned below that it's editable in Google Slides ... does that mean a student could type directly on it? If so, I think I'd be able to make a copy for each student and distribute it via Google Classroom. Does this seem like it would work? Would the format look the same as the previews? Thanks :)
You will be able to open them in google slides, but students will need to add text boxes in order to annotate over them. I'm happy to send you a slide to try out. Please email me at info@teacherthrive.com
I am interested in the possibility of implementing this with my 7th and 8th grade students. I was wondering if there was any way that I could see at least part of the handbook? And if it might be possible to get a sample of the pages so I could see how they might work in Google slides? I downloaded the free sample, but didn't see a way to do either of these things with it. Just a page or two from each would help! Thanks!
Hi Cheryl! Please email me what samples you would like to check out. Info@teacherthrive.com
Hi there! I just purchased the 8th grade Language Review and for some reason it is not converting from pdf to Microsoft word... any suggestions?
Hi Michelle. The PDF file is not designed to be opened in word. However, a PowerPoint version is included so you can edit the entire resource.
This isn't a question but I had to let you know what happened today! We had an administration meeting this morning and specifically looked at student growth in math, reading, and language usage according to the MAPS assessment (taken in Aug then again in Dec). Overall in Language Usage, our 8th grade students grew almost 15%! And the only thing we've changed is implementing your 5 - a - Day Language Review. :)
This summer, I found your resource and shared it with my 7th-grade cohort. We worked through it together and implemented it at the beginning of the year. After the 1st quarter, we loved it so much and saw so much improvement in our students that we encouraged our 6th-grade teachers to get on board. The rest is history! :) Thank you so much for the time you put into preparing this resource for teachers like me!
Oh wow, Loretta!!! This is amazing. Thank you for taking the time to share this with me. I can’t tell you how much it means.
