Always my favorite way to take notes
The kids love it. Had these for 5th graders and it was a must purchase for 4th
Great Resource
I love this resource because it allows students to take guided notes when learning new skills. It can be put into an interactive notebook or binder to reference all year.
Great resource!
I loved having this to use in my class! Thanks for making this!

Hi! I bought these sketch notes 2 years ago, and my kids and I LOVE them. I am wondering if it is possible to add a sketch note for adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators? Our 4th grade curriculum covers this, and I've seen questions on state testing requiring this as well.
Thank you for considering!
Debbie Balmat
Hello, Debbie! Thank you for asking and for the kind words. That topic is covered in the 5th grade bundle. You can buy the specific units separately.
I may be missing it, but where can I find the list of all the pages? For example, your 5th grade page lists the pages as shown below.
1. Place Value Basics
2. Expressing Number Values
Hello! Thanks for reaching out. I just added this list to the product description.
Fabulous resource! Could I possibly get the PDF password, so I can organize the pages?
Hi Melissa! Thank you for the kind words. The document security settings allow for rearranging, deleting, and adding pages to the PDFs. Please make sure you are opening the resource in Adobe reader
Hi!
What markers do you have your kiddos use with these for coloring them? I am trying to order some for the new school year. :)
Hello, Alex. I colored these digitally, but you can use any markers you like. Crayons or colored pencils will also work. In fact, you can even skip the coloring altogether and just have the students complete the written notes.
Will you be adding any notes on patterns or did I miss that somewhere? 4.OA.5
Hello! I don't have one for that standard. However, I will add to to my list for future updates.
Hi, I purchased these for 4th grade and they are fantastic! Just had a few suggestions (bar graph lesson, pictograph lesson, stem and leaf plot lesson, fractions on a number line both less than 1 and greater than 1, profit, and financial literacy) Just suggesting because we had to cover these (in Texas) and although some were introduced in 3rd we definitely had to do a lesson on them this year in 4th. Thank you again!
Hello! Thank you so much for reaching out. I will definitely make a note of the TEKS financial literacy topics for possible future updates.
Hi! I love these and purchased them bc they are so clear and concise. I wonder if you might be willing to make a lesson or two on input/output position/value or function tables? Also on some of the 4th grade financial literacy concepts? Thanks so much for a useful product!
Hello! Sorry for the delay. I will definitely add these topics to possible future updates. Thank you so much for reaching out and asking.
Hi there! I am having trouble finding the powerpoints to go with the sketch notes. Can you point me in the right direction? Thank you!
Hello! The PowerPoints are in the same folder as the printable.
Thank you for your response. I took your advice and asked my district if there is a file size limit that they impose, and if so, if they could increase it. They informed me that it is Google for Education that limits the file size to about 100MB. Unfortunately, I don't have PowerPoint to split it into smaller files.
That’s interesting. All of the PowerPoints are less than 100mb. You may want to ask why the file isn’t uploading.
Hello...I am having trouble uploading #35 Equivalent Fractions (Part 1) & #47 Decimals: Understanding Hundredths into my Google Drive. Do you know why or can you help to fix this issue?
Hi Lisa,
It seems that your district might have a file size limit on your Google Drive. You'll have to contact your IT admin to see if that can be increased. Your other option is to open the file in PowerPoint and split it up into smaller files.
