Depth and Complexity Teaching Critical Thinking Using Fairytales

This resource is absolutely incredible!! I love the idea of the fairytales-like you said in your rationale: it's so much easier to apply these icons to texts they are already familiar with. It brings success to them quicker, and inspires them take on the challenge of applying them to new material we'll encounter through the year. Older students still have that "little kid" inside of them, and I believe my middle schoolers will love revisiting these tales. I cannot wait to begin next school year with this resource! Keep the products coming!!

Teacher Thrive

Thank you for one of the best "feedbacks" EVER. I really do appreciate the time and care you took to leave your response. And, yes, TOTALLY appropriate for middle school and beyond; there are actually some pretty "deep" elements to fairytales that older students can really dive into.

Hi,
Is your PowerPoint Presentation available in Google Slides? I tried to convert it, but several of the animations don't match up correctly.
Thanks,
Breanna

Teacher Thrive

Hi there! For the most part, everything transfers over just fine. There will be a few instances in each PowerPoint where you will have to edit the fonts in Google Slides so that everything lines up.
