Description

Comparing decimals and decimal place value can be challenging concepts to teach, so using decimal models is a must!

Ordering Decimals Math Tiles is a hands-on math center that takes students’ thinking beyond procedures and rote memorization. This engaging resource activates critical thinking and problem-solving skills, all while building a true understanding of decimal place value. Students must place 10 number tiles (0-9) on the Time to Tile cards to correctly number four decimal numbers according to the models provided. Students will then list the four numbers in order of greatest to least or least to greatest.

This resource includes:

  • 30 different Time to Tile PRINTABLE cards
  • An “Answer Recording Sheet,” where students can record their answers so they can be corrected later. This allows the resource to be used as a perfect independent or center activity.
  • Answer keys
  • Management and organization tips for successfully implementing Time to Tile in your classroom.

This resource is now provided in printable and digital formats (Google Slides).

A great resource. Easy to set up and very engaging, the recording sheet made marking and seeing their progress easy. They learned a lot from this activity.

Great activity! This activity was great as a reinforcement for previously taught skills and really helped lower students understand the math concept.

Hello-
I purchased your Time to Tile resource on Ordering Decimals. Did I misunderstand? I thought the resource includes the printable and digital versions. I'm having trouble finding the digital version link. I've purchased many of these on your website and didn't have a problem finding the link. Thanks for your response.
