Description
Visualizing Fractions Math Tiles is a hands-on activity that takes students’ thinking beyond procedures and rote memorization. This engaging resource activates critical thinking and problem-solving skills while building a deep understanding of how fractions are represented in numerical form. Students must place 10 number tiles (0-9) on the task cards in order to correctly complete 5 different fraction problems.
This resource is now provided in printable and digital formats (Google Slides).
This resource includes:
- 30 different Time to Tile PRINTABLE cards
- An “Answer Recording Sheet,” where students can record their answers so they can be corrected later. This allows the resource to be used as a perfect independent or center activity.

LOOOOOOVE Math Tiles Mats
I love these math tile mats! I love them so much that I have them all! They are great for review and extension of concepts already learned. They push student thinking and make them think outside of the box. Perfect for critical thinking. Just watch all of the "light bulb moments!"

I have quite a few of these resources and absolutely love them. They definitely make the kids think to solve!
I love these number tile puzzles. I use them mostly for fast finishers, but sometimes use them as a math station. I appreciate the recording sheet for accountability!
