Description
Time to Tile: 3 by 2 Factor Puzzles is a hands-on activity that takes students’ thinking beyond procedures and rote memorization. This engaging resource activates critical thinking and problem-solving skills, all while building a true understanding of factors and the relationship between multiplication and division. Students must place 10 number tiles (0-9) on the Time to Tile cards in order to correctly complete one 3-by-2 matrixes/matrices that are based on the factors of 5 different numbers.
This resource is now provided in printable and digital formats (Google Slides).
This resource includes:
- 30 different Time to Tile PRINTABLE cards
- An “Answer Recording Sheet,” where students can record their answers so they can be corrected later. This allows the resource to be used as a perfect independent or center activity.
- Answer keys
- Management and organization tips for successfully implementing Time to Tile in your classroom.

This is a terrific morning math resource for the kiddos to settle in to their seats while revisiting concepts taught this year. I would like to see a little more variety in the type of questions asked.
I was under the impression that this was a daily review resource as stated in the title but what I downloaded was the answer key to a daily review resource.

Its repetitive nature means that students can quickly get into the swing of using these skills.
