Pattern Block Fraction Task Cards Math Centers
Holly B.

I used this as part of my Guided Math centers with 5th graders. It was really challenging for them. This resource is most definitely one that helps students build their thinking and asks them to really apply what they have learned. My kids struggled, which was okay, because it showed me that they hadn't truly mastered the content (fractions) yet. I will probably use this again, but the next time, I will model the process and do some of the cards as examples with them before having them try to figure out others on their own.

Depth and Complexity Critical Thinking Literature Circles Book Clubs
Dawn C.

We used this to do book clubs in class. I like the packets and how easy they were to implement. Some of the questions were a little bit too much for 5th graders without some really explicit teaching. Overall, a great product if you have time to teach into everything and if you have mostly high level to on level kids.
