Teacher Thrive resources have always been a significant component to my Grammar instruction, as I've always worked in schools with no Grammar curriculum. My 4th graders enjoyed working through these slides together and it gave them the instruction and practice they needed to grow more familiar and comfortable with using a dictionary. After working through this product my 4th graders preferred using a physical dictionary over an online version.
This is a great resource for reinforcing dictionary skills. I have used this resource repeatedly over the last two years as independent work, whole class activity, and warm up.
This resource was a great way for the students to practice dictionary skills independently. They enjoyed being able to do the work on their own, and the activities helped solidify their understanding of the skills they were learning and using.
