I bought this bundle thinking it would be more interactive in the digital versions but there are just Google Forms for students to fill out. I will probably wait until we are back in school to use this resource.

This seems loosely aligned with IXL Language Arts. Do you use IXL with your program, and if so, do you have a list of IXL skills that go with each unit?
Hello! This is aligned with the Common Core.
I am enjoying the resource. I am a bit confused about the sequence. Can you explain your reasoning for placing topics such as capitalization rules and complete sentences well after topoics such as progressive verb tenses? Since I have just purchased this resource, perhaps I am not seeing the big picture at the end of the school year.
Hi Jennifer. I am following the order of the Common Core Standards, but you are more than welcome to teach those units first if that's what best meets the needs of your students.
Hi Melissa, will you ever make a bundle like this one for 6th grade?
Thank you, Michele
Hi Michele! I’m working on some other projects, but I hope to eventually get to 6th grade.
What is the reason that you have kids take notes on the concept on Thursday? I have a 4 day week, so I'm wondering about Powerpoint on Monday, Notes on Tuesday, Task Cards Wed, the practice likely sent home on Tuesday or Wed. for homework, and the assessment on Thursday. Do you think that would still work with the curriculum and make sense as the instructor?
Hello! The sketch notes are intended to reinforce the work from the previous days, but you're more than welcome switch things up to fit your schedule. The components are very versatile.
In the bundle description for the "Fourth Grade Grammar," it says "everything you need to teach third grade grammar." Is this a typo? I noticed there is a majority of 4th grade standards included, but there are some 3rd grade standards as well. Also, does this product correlate at all with a specific textbook adoption? For example, does your district use Journey's, and does this follow that scope/sequence?
Hello! Sorry, that was just a typo. This resource is for 4th grade. This is a standalone curriculum. It does not align with another program.
hello,
if I purchase the bundle for 4th grade does it come with a sequence chart on what unit start with etc? I am always nervous of buying a big bundle and not knowing what topic or where to start with them!!
Hi Amy! The units are organized sequentially, so you can just teach them in that order :-).
Hello! Are these TEKS aligned?
These were created based on the Common Core. However, most of the topics are identical to those included in TEKS.
Would this be useful for students in 5th grade? Thanks!
You could definitely use this with fifth grade students. However, I do have one specifically written for 5th. https://teacherthrive.com/product/fifth-grade-grammar-bundle/
How much time would each day's lesson require?
About 15-20 minutes.
I'm wondering if there are differences between the 4th and 5th grade sets. I teach combination classes and would not want the units to repeat for different grade levels. I know most of the topics are different, but there are some topics that repeat. Are they the same, or different?
Hello! These units are all different. Even if the topics are similar, the content and difficulty levels are different in each grade level.
