Description

Need a complete, no-prep way to teach 4th grade grammar all year? This 4th Grade Grammar and Language Bundle gives you 28 units with PowerPoint lessons, grammar worksheets, task cards, sketch notes, interactive notebook activities, and assessments. Each unit follows a Monday–Friday routine, so you can teach, practice, review, and assess one skill each week. With 1,000+ pages plus digital resources, this grammar bundle saves planning time while helping students master 4th grade language skills.

A Complete Weekly Grammar System

This is more than a collection of practice pages. Each unit combines direct instruction, guided practice, hands-on review, visual notes, and assessment in one predictable weekly sequence.

Use the complete 4th grade language bundle throughout the school year for whole-class instruction, small groups, literacy centers, intervention, homework, review, or homeschool learning.

What Is Included

This bundle contains 28 comprehensive grammar units. Each unit includes:

  • A PowerPoint lesson with explanations and examples
  • A printable practice activity with a digital version
  • Printable and digital task cards
  • A sketch notes page for visual reinforcement
  • A weekly printable assessment
  • A Google Forms assessment
  • An interactive notebook activity

With multiple ways to teach and practice each concept, students can encounter the same grammar skill through direct instruction, independent practice, discussion, visual learning, and assessment.

A Simple Monday–Friday Routine

Each unit follows the same teacher-friendly structure:

  • Monday: Introduce the skill with the PowerPoint lesson.
  • Tuesday: Reinforce learning with printable or digital practice.
  • Wednesday: Apply and review the skill with task cards.
  • Thursday: Organize learning with sketch notes.
  • Friday: Check understanding with a printable or digital assessment.
  • Bonus: Extend the unit with an interactive notebook activity.

The repeatable routine makes lesson planning faster and helps students know what to expect each week.

I see that embedded in the "compound sentences" you address "coordinating conjunctions".
I was wondering if subordinating conjunctions are addressed or embedded any where in the 4th grade bundle?
Also are complex sentences addressed in the 4th grade bundle? I see they are in the 3rd grade bundle but wasn't sure if they are addressed in the 4th grade bundle?

Teacher Thrive

Subordinating conjunctions and complex sentences are not included in the 4th grade bundle. I created these based on the common core standards, and for some reason these two concepts are taught in 3rd, and then revisited in 5th. If you would like to teach these two concepts, then you’ll definitely want to purchase the 3rd grade units.

I love this bundle! The doodle notes are awesome! Is there any way you can include the full sheet of the answer key for the doodle notes (without the teacher instructions written on the side) to use as a wall poster or reference on those days when we don't have time to write down all the notes? Thank you so much!

Teacher Thrive

Hi Krista! Could you email me so I can follow up on that request at a later date. If it’s something I am able to do, it won’t be for several weeks. Info@teacherthrive.com

Cheryl C.

Is this created to skip around or do you recommend doing them in order?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Cheryl. I recommend that you stay in order if your students lack a foundational understanding of the concepts included. However, the units can be used in any order that best fits your needs.

Hi! I am a sixth grade special education teacher, and each year I have to review the basic parts of speech and basic writing skills for my kiddos with learning disabilities. I love your 3rd and 4th grade bundles, but only need specific sections from each bundle. Is it possible to create a basic review bundle (introducing parts of speech, capitalization, punctuating, sentence info, commonly confused words, multiple meanings, etc) for SPED teachers to help our students with writing disabilities and / or gap groups?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Jessica,

Unfortunately, I don’t create custom bundles. All of the units are available individually, so you can purchase just the ones you want.

Alexandra S.

It says bonus interactive notebook activity.. this sounds like one activity and is set up to steer you to buy your interactive notebook that is $14. In the preview there is only one activity, so my thinking makes sense that there is a bonus lesson for free, but if you want the whole notebook, buy it over here.

Teacher Thrive

If you buy this bundle, do not buy the INB. You are getting the INB activities in the bundle as bonus material.

Sorry to ask another question, but I noticed some of the lessons have not been posted, I understand and see you are still working on them. As soon as they are uploaded, would I be able to just redownload since I’ve already purchased and it says they were part of the bundle, or would I have to pay more, I hope not cause they were listed as part of the bundle, but I wanted to make sure. Thank you!

Teacher Thrive

You will NOT have to pay for the unfinished units. Once they are completed and added to the bundle, you will get them all for no additional charge as part of an update.

Shields Supplies

I was curious as to whether or not you have some kind of INB cover page for your option to do the INB as a bound book which is what I am extremely interested in doing.

Teacher Thrive

Hi Again! I apologize for not answering that below. I don't have one included, but I would be happy to make one and send it to you. Please email me at info@teacherthrive.com if you are interested in that.

Shields Supplies

I have two questions, one I noticed that previously on your lists of topics covered you had Commonly Misspelled Words but now it's gone and I was wondering why? Also I was curious as to whether or not you have some kind of INB cover page for your option to do the INB as a bound book which is what I am extremely interested in doing.

Teacher Thrive

Hello! Thank you for your question. I felt that commonly misspelled words was a bit redundant with frequently confused words. I also feel that spelling is a topic that is best taught over an entire year; it is not something that can be crammed into one week of instruction.

Ramblings from Rachael

The lessons that aren't hyperlinked...are they included in this bundle already, or will they be added later?

Teacher Thrive

The lessons that are not hyperlinked have not been added yet. They will all be added within a month or so.

This Teacher Life

Are you planning to make this for 5th grade?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! Yes, I am, but it’s a couple of months out.
