Description

Need a complete, no-prep way to teach 4th grade grammar all year? This 4th Grade Grammar and Language Bundle gives you 28 units with PowerPoint lessons, grammar worksheets, task cards, sketch notes, interactive notebook activities, and assessments. Each unit follows a Monday–Friday routine, so you can teach, practice, review, and assess one skill each week. With 1,000+ pages plus digital resources, this grammar bundle saves planning time while helping students master 4th grade language skills.

A Complete Weekly Grammar System

This is more than a collection of practice pages. Each unit combines direct instruction, guided practice, hands-on review, visual notes, and assessment in one predictable weekly sequence.

Use the complete 4th grade language bundle throughout the school year for whole-class instruction, small groups, literacy centers, intervention, homework, review, or homeschool learning.

What Is Included

This bundle contains 28 comprehensive grammar units. Each unit includes:

  • A PowerPoint lesson with explanations and examples
  • A printable practice activity with a digital version
  • Printable and digital task cards
  • A sketch notes page for visual reinforcement
  • A weekly printable assessment
  • A Google Forms assessment
  • An interactive notebook activity

With multiple ways to teach and practice each concept, students can encounter the same grammar skill through direct instruction, independent practice, discussion, visual learning, and assessment.

A Simple Monday–Friday Routine

Each unit follows the same teacher-friendly structure:

  • Monday: Introduce the skill with the PowerPoint lesson.
  • Tuesday: Reinforce learning with printable or digital practice.
  • Wednesday: Apply and review the skill with task cards.
  • Thursday: Organize learning with sketch notes.
  • Friday: Check understanding with a printable or digital assessment.
  • Bonus: Extend the unit with an interactive notebook activity.

The repeatable routine makes lesson planning faster and helps students know what to expect each week.

4th Grammar

I LOVE Teacher Thrive and I love the grammar resources! I have used this resource every week for the past 3 years. Everything is appropriately on level. I love the assessments Pre-and Test. I love the PPTs that do a great job of explaining the skill in a visual way. I love the interactive notebook activities and they are a great way for hands on practice of the skill.

Perfect Grammar Program

This bundle is exactly what I need to teach grammar, as the adopted curriculum falls short. Easy to use, student friendly, and effective.

Veronica A.

Perfect resource to help me stay on track with language standards.

Digital and print versions give me flexibility. Students prefer the digital task cards and I love the notebook printables.

Prairie Touch

Hello, I noticed that #17 of the Dictionary Skills Task Cards is actually numbered as #14. Could you please change it so there are not 2 #14s? Thank you!

Teacher Thrive

Thank you so much for letting me know. All fixed!

Miss B's Emporium

Help! I need appositive phrases. Anything I can use?

Teacher Thrive

Hell! I don’t have a unit on appositive phrases. Thank you for your interest.

Miranda Yonts

Do you have a recommended scope and sequence for the grammar bundle?

Thanks!

Teacher Thrive

Hi Miranda! While there is some flexibility with the units, I recommend following order that units are organized within the bundle and product description. Each unit is designed to last a week.

Laura M.

Hi! For the compound sentences unit I found 2 errors. On the task cards, #5 has the choice of 'and' twice. In the IND the first independent clause for ,but says "he wants play baseball" but it should say "he wants TO play baseball". Thanks!

Teacher Thrive

Thank you, Laura, for bringing this to my attention. I corrected the errors.

Laura M.

Will a fifth grade version be available at any point?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Laura,

At this time, I’m not when when I’ll get around to a 5th grade version.

Lisa M.

I am a private school teacher in a long term sub position. Do you ever offer a discount or sale on units? I see the 5th grade bundle is $35 if bought early, but I need 4th grade. I have to pay for all materials myself and don’t make much as a substitute. Thank you!

Teacher Thrive

Hi Lisa. Unfortunately, the 4th grade set is not on sale. Tpt does hold 4 site wide sales a year, so you may want to wait for one before purchasing. The next one should be in November.

Shields Supplies

I was just wondering isn't the proverb "The early bird gets the worm"? the one on the base page says word not worm.

Teacher Thrive

Thanks! I just corrected it.

Laura M.

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that for the interactive notebook in the Complete Sentences Unit the formatting seems incorrect for the subjects/predicates tab. The words are crossed out by a line.

Teacher Thrive

Hi Laura! I am not seeing these lines. Could you redownload the file and see if they are still there? I am wondering if the file didn't download properly.

Shields Supplies

This is not really a question but I noticed a typo on the practice page of Parts of Speech, in the words to sort you have the word they and it should be them

Teacher Thrive

Thank you for letting me know! I have made the correction.
