Description

Need a complete, no-prep way to teach 4th grade grammar all year? This 4th Grade Grammar and Language Bundle gives you 28 units with PowerPoint lessons, grammar worksheets, task cards, sketch notes, interactive notebook activities, and assessments. Each unit follows a Monday–Friday routine, so you can teach, practice, review, and assess one skill each week. With 1,000+ pages plus digital resources, this grammar bundle saves planning time while helping students master 4th grade language skills.

A Complete Weekly Grammar System

This is more than a collection of practice pages. Each unit combines direct instruction, guided practice, hands-on review, visual notes, and assessment in one predictable weekly sequence.

Use the complete 4th grade language bundle throughout the school year for whole-class instruction, small groups, literacy centers, intervention, homework, review, or homeschool learning.

What Is Included

This bundle contains 28 comprehensive grammar units. Each unit includes:

  • A PowerPoint lesson with explanations and examples
  • A printable practice activity with a digital version
  • Printable and digital task cards
  • A sketch notes page for visual reinforcement
  • A weekly printable assessment
  • A Google Forms assessment
  • An interactive notebook activity

With multiple ways to teach and practice each concept, students can encounter the same grammar skill through direct instruction, independent practice, discussion, visual learning, and assessment.

A Simple Monday–Friday Routine

Each unit follows the same teacher-friendly structure:

  • Monday: Introduce the skill with the PowerPoint lesson.
  • Tuesday: Reinforce learning with printable or digital practice.
  • Wednesday: Apply and review the skill with task cards.
  • Thursday: Organize learning with sketch notes.
  • Friday: Check understanding with a printable or digital assessment.
  • Bonus: Extend the unit with an interactive notebook activity.

The repeatable routine makes lesson planning faster and helps students know what to expect each week.

Thanks

Juilana L.

Thank you so much for this resource. I'm excited to use it in our classroom. It's nice to have all the CCSS for the language part in one place. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the material.

Ingrid L.

I bought the 3rd grade grammar and LA bundle and love the various ways or format (ppt, task cards, practice, doodle notes, and interactive notebook) from which students can learn grammar and LA. This is why I bought the 4th grade bundle. Looking forward to using the materials next school year!

Kelli H.

Is this available in Google Slides?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Rebekah! Thanks for reaching out! As mentioned in the product description, components of the bundle are available in Google Forms; practice worksheets, task cards, and assessments. The PowerPoints can also be used in Google Slides. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Mrs Proton Priest

Hi, I am interested in a bundle that is just your 4th grade grammar sketch notes. Do you have that or can you create one? I don't want to cut and glue into notebooks and I have curriculum with practice but I'd like to use the sketch notes you have on each topic. Thanks for the great resources!

Teacher Thrive

Thank you for your interest and for reaching out. No, we do not sell these components separately. They are only available as part of the comprehensive program.

Abby Skeen

First, I just want to say that I love this resource! Any chance you have a full-size document of the sketch note answer keys? For some of my students (SPED and ELL), I would love to just print your already-filled in answer key as opposed to the blank sketch notes. Is that an option?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Abby! The Sketch Notes do not come with answer keys because they are an open-ended format, and students get to pick which they are using. The photos of completed sketch notes are just shown for examples.

Mishelle L.

Hi, I am changing grade levels and am purchasing quite a few tpt items to help with my transition to fourth grade. I was wondering if your grammar resource will be going on sale for back to school. I start up in a couple of weeks and am trying to budget for items I would like to purchase. From your preview, I love the daily activities.

Thank you for taking the time to read my message.

Mishelle LaMorte

Teacher Thrive

Hi Mishelle. Thanks for reaching out! All of our resources will be on sale during the Back To School Sale that TpT hosts every year. It should be in the next week or two.

Jessica G.

Do you have just the doodle notes for sale on their own?

Teacher Thrive

Thank you for your interest and for reaching out. No, we do not sell these components separately. They are only available as part of the comprehensive program.

Anne G.

How do the sketch notes work? Do you present the completed one for them to copy from? I haven't yet purchased this, just trying to clarify before I decide. I would also be very interested in a 6th grade version....and a 2nd grade version. I teach all three grade levels.

Teacher Thrive

Thanks for reaching out! To start, it's best to guide students with a projected version of the page. As you model the note-taking process, students will complete their notes. Unfortunately, I only have these available for 3-5th Grades at this time.

Valerie M.

Hi! Do the worksheets each come with an answer key?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! Yes, answer keys are included

Tammy B.

Is there an order that you would recommend using the resources in this packet?

Teacher Thrive

Thanks for reaching out! The units are designed to be taught in the order they are presented within the bundle. However, there is some flexibility if you are required to follow a specific scope and sequence.

See Sally Teach

I have the same students for 4th and 5th grades (loop). Are the two bundles very different, or should I just buy one?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! Thanks for reaching out! The content in the bundles is completely different. The 4th Grade Bundle was created based on 4th Grade standards, and the 5th Grade Bundle was created based on 5th Grade standards.

Christy L.

I am looking at the Language Spiral Review. I teach 4th grade. Do I need the 3rd grade to help secure the skills? Also, does the grammar bundle and language spiral parallel in skills? I am asking because students can't work independently if they have not been taught the skill.

Teacher Thrive

Hello, Christy! Thanks for reaching out!
The language reviews cover 20 language skill items (“5 a Day”) per week, whereas the grammar bundle units cover 1 specific topic per week. I don't worry too much if there hasn't been a formal lesson on a particular concept; I treat those items as more of a preview. After a few weeks, the students really start grasping the format, and you can begin to transfer the workload to them. Eventually, when the students are working independently on the review, you will simply spend time correcting and discussing their work in class.
