Description

Need a complete, no-prep way to teach 4th grade grammar all year? This 4th Grade Grammar and Language Bundle gives you 28 units with PowerPoint lessons, grammar worksheets, task cards, sketch notes, interactive notebook activities, and assessments. Each unit follows a Monday–Friday routine, so you can teach, practice, review, and assess one skill each week. With 1,000+ pages plus digital resources, this grammar bundle saves planning time while helping students master 4th grade language skills.

A Complete Weekly Grammar System

This is more than a collection of practice pages. Each unit combines direct instruction, guided practice, hands-on review, visual notes, and assessment in one predictable weekly sequence.

Use the complete 4th grade language bundle throughout the school year for whole-class instruction, small groups, literacy centers, intervention, homework, review, or homeschool learning.

What Is Included

This bundle contains 28 comprehensive grammar units. Each unit includes:

  • A PowerPoint lesson with explanations and examples
  • A printable practice activity with a digital version
  • Printable and digital task cards
  • A sketch notes page for visual reinforcement
  • A weekly printable assessment
  • A Google Forms assessment
  • An interactive notebook activity

With multiple ways to teach and practice each concept, students can encounter the same grammar skill through direct instruction, independent practice, discussion, visual learning, and assessment.

A Simple Monday–Friday Routine

Each unit follows the same teacher-friendly structure:

  • Monday: Introduce the skill with the PowerPoint lesson.
  • Tuesday: Reinforce learning with printable or digital practice.
  • Wednesday: Apply and review the skill with task cards.
  • Thursday: Organize learning with sketch notes.
  • Friday: Check understanding with a printable or digital assessment.
  • Bonus: Extend the unit with an interactive notebook activity.

The repeatable routine makes lesson planning faster and helps students know what to expect each week.

A Comprehension Resource

From a district with no grammar curriculum, this is the resource that we use for our grammar instruction. It is easy to use and navigate, engaging, and comprehensive with everything you will need to successfully implement grammar instruction in your classroom.

Amazing resource

I love all of these sketchnotes. I just started using these, but I will definetly be making this a regular part of my grammar lessons. The students love having these to refer back to and creating them really helps solidify the learning.

Thank you for creating such a great resource. 11.04 [Task Cards] Frequently Confused Words has a typo that I was wondering if you could fix. Card 29- _____ are hiding over _________ in the bushes. They're and there are the correct answers. Could you please delete "are" in the question? Thank you!

Teacher Thrive

Hello Kathy! So sorry for the delay. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. We corrected the error.

Kathy M.

Your resources are great! Thank you so much for the work you have put into them. In the frequently confused words task cards #30, there is an error that I was wondering if you could fix. _______ are hiding over there in the bushes. The answer is "They're". Would you mind taking out the "are" on the task card. I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Teacher Thrive

Hello Kathy! So sorry for the delay. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. We corrected the error.

Kathy M.

Good Day,

I purchased your grammar bundle and I am using ordering adjective powerpoint. For slides 13-18 I see a few errors. The sentence that classify the adjectives is either missing or the sentences is merging into adjectives. Do you mine fixing it so that I may use it for my students in the morning.

Thank you!

Mrs. M.

I don't see anything on the linking/helping verbs. Am I missing it?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! This is titled "Modal Auxiliary Verbs" and should be the 4th or 5th product in the bundle. If you are unable to find it, please contact TpT so they can troubleshoot this with you directly. https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Contact

Jenalee F.

Hi! Are the grade four and grade 5 bundles worth purchasing separately if teaching a combined class? Or does it work just as well to buy one grade and differentiate as needed?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! Thanks for reaching out. These resources were written based on fourth & fifth-grade content standards. However, none of the student materials are labeled with a grade level. This will allow teachers to use them across grade levels.

Jenalee F.

Hi! Do you offer only your grammar lesson plan powerpoints as a bundle? I would love to purchase just those if possible. Thank you!

Teacher Thrive

Hello. Not, we don’t sell the individual components separately.

Beth A.

Hi there,

I am thinking about ordering this resource and was wondering if you could give me an idea of how you use the doodle notes and interactive notebook? Do you use both in your class, if so I'd just like to know how you structure that time. Thanks so much!!

Teacher Thrive

Hello! Personally, I wouldn't use both if time is an issue (and it usually is). We added the INBs as a bonus, since many teachers are already having students create INBs for other subjects. If you're strapped for time, I'd stick with the sketch notes.

andrea P.

HI I don't see any assessment file for progressive verb tense, can you help?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Andrea,
You can find the link to the assessment in the excel file under the Practice link. Please let us know if you still have any trouble locating it.

Jessica P.

Can you explain the "doodle notes" to me? Do the kids fill them in? Or is it already completed and just given to the kids as notes? Also, there are 30 task cards per concept? Is a task card just one question each? They are all digital on a Google Form? Are most of them multiple choice or are they more fill in the blank? What are your thoughts on delivery/instruction with those?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Jessica,
The kids fill the doodle notes in. Yes, there are 30 task cards per concept, 1 question each, all digital on Google Forms, and they are a mix of multiple choice and fill in the blank. Here is a short tutorial that explains delivery of the Google Foms: https://youtu.be/MhUEWsAIoGU
