This was a helpful resource.
It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but definitely worth the week I used it. It was a fun activity to use. My students enjoyed expanding the sentences and I liked how this as scaffolded.
A well Crafted Resource
My students finally can write a well developed compound sentence after using this amazing resource.
A well crafted resource
Thank you so much for everything. It was really helpful.
Interactive
So glad I tried this resource. It's working well to support an interactive math notebook for my class. Since I am in Canada, I am using the grade 3 and grade 4 to meet our slightly different expectations.
I love Teacher Thrive!
I LOVE Teacher Thrive's resources. Sketch notes are such a great way to reduce the scariness of taking math notes. This was a great resource - it wasn't quite what my students needed this year, but I don't believe that was the resource's fault. On a side note, a while back I purchased her grammar bundles for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. Do yourself a favor and check them out. I taught ONLY reading for 8 years, and relied heavily on her structured, engaging, and thoughtfully crafted resources to help guide my students through grammar concepts. It's worth EVERY penny!

I feel like my child is a little behind on grammar. I'm thinking of using this as a fun way to catch her up. Could I do more than 1 grade in a year (36 weeks) if we just spent 15-20 minutes on this a day reviewing and reinforcing skills? If I saw a hole in her knowledge I could stop and teach/reteach that concept.
Woops! I meant to comment on the INTERACTIVE LANGUAGE NOTEBOOK! I was thinking about doing 4th, 5th, 6th, & 7th all this year. Is that crazy?
Hi Steve! Thanks for reaching out! That sounds like a lot of grammar work. I would suggest doing one grade level at a time and feeling it out as you go.
Hi, I downloaded this using my school access account, and I can't open the powerpoint. The file appears to have gotten corrupted, probably during compressing to a .zip or extracting from it, as powerpoint is unsuccessfully trying to "repair" it. Is there any way you can send me a copy of the .pptx in an unzipped form?
Hi there! Sorry for the inconvenience. I just checked the file, and everything appears normal. Please contact TpT so they can troubleshoot this with you directly. https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Contact
