I first purchased this when we were in person just before COVID (early 2020). I have to say that my students LOVED it. Their favorite part are the Task Cards. I would have the cards spread around the classroom by the time they returned from recess, they'd pair up and then would complete them together. They would then bring it to me when finished, I'd circle the ones they had to try again, then they'd go back and see if they can correct it on their own. They were timed, of course. Sometimes I broke it up into 2 days depending on the lesson. Of course now we are in COVID and this is not possible. Every few weeks I sent home worksheets and the grammar worksheets are the first things that I print out. Students have them and are ready. Now what I do with these is share my screen, give them a couple of mintues to complete 2 then move on. When we get about 1/2 way through, I will have them correct their own and then on day 2 they finish the rest on their own. I attach just the task cards that they need in Google Classroom.
Another thing that I learned and the students really enjoy is the Sketch Notes. This is how silly I was. I had the students taking notes in their composition books as I went through the slides. I did this all of last year. Well, until 2 lessons ago I realized that you can go through the slides and they can enter the notes right in their Sketch Notes. Wow! Life changing! There are usually practice questions on the slides and I have them write those in their composition books for practice.
This really is helpful and easy to use. The students are aware that the highlights do not always match up so I changed it to, "Is it correct?" For some reason my iPAD doesn't like the fonts that we were to download.
Thank you for this!
There are so many components to this resource. I love that the activities are both digital and paper-based. The powerpoints are very helpful for the students.
Great resource!
I love all of your resources! We started the year in-person, but have recently moved to remote learning. I've been trying to figure out how to still do grammar with my students while remote without just assigning boring worksheets. Your resource is just what I needed to make my grammar lessons engaging and meaningful for my students!
Great resource that helps make teaching grammar easy.

There is a typo on the Coordinating Conjunctions Assessment. In number 2 at the top, "conjunction" is misspelled. Will you correct that and update the bundle?
Hello, Terry. Thank you so much for letting me know. I have corrected this error.
The Powerpoint in the Coordinating Conjunction Unit will not open. Please send it to me directly. Was planning to use this today, so I had to change plans. Also, the highlighting in the Parts of Speech Unit Powerpoint are not lined up correctly with the answers they are trying to indicate. Please correct and send that one also.
Hello! Please download these two free fonts, and then everything should line up perfectly:

For help with the PowerPoint not opening, please contact TpT so they can troubleshoot this with you directly. https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Contact
I was to purchased your product but I need other elements in grammar that our school is requiring that I teach. I was wondering if you would add these for me , I just like your setup and I would even pay first. Because of school starting so soon, I would be fine with just the PowerPoint teaching slides. I have been looking all over and I can't find anyone who has everything but you have close. Please email me at pastortommykeith@gmail.com
Thank you so much for reaching out. At this time, I cannot commit to creating extra units for this bundle. However, if you let me know what topics you need, I can add them to a list of possible future updates. info@teacherthrive.com
Before I make a decision to purchase this bundle, has anyone notified you of errors on any of the pages? If so, were they corrected?
Hello! Excellent question. Any errors that have been brought to my attention have been corrected. This resource was published over five years ago, so I rarely hear from teachers about errors. Of course, if someone contacts me, I correct the error within 48 hours.
Hello, does the bundle include and pacing guide or scope and sequence for the year?
Hi Kimberly, Each unit is designed to be taught over one whole week of school. I recommend that you teach the units in the order they are presented in the bundle. However, there is flexibility if you need to move things around a bit.
I love the idea of making the lessons into a bound spiral workbook, but I was wondering if you have a cover page that could be used for the front of the workbook. Thanks!
Hello! I don’t have a cover page, but I may be able to make one for you. Please email me at info@teacherthrive.com
I too hope you will make your sketch notes for 6th grade! Will you please do this!?
Hi Tracy! That's the plan. I just started 5th grade and anticipate completing it will take me several months. After 5th, I will start 3rd or 6th, depending on what the majority of the teachers I work with need most.
Do you have a scope and sequence for this grammar unit?
Hello. I recommend that you teach the units in the order they are presented. Each unit will take one week.
Do the powerpoint slides open seamlessly in Google Slides - no conflicts with fonts, transitions, etc?
Hello, Nicolle! Thanks for asking. All of the transitions and animations are compatible with Google Slides. However, a small portion of the text boxes may need to have the fonts reformatted.
I teach 5th grade, and I do have the 4th grade bundle. Are there overlaps at all, or are each topics different?
Hi there! Each grade level is completely different. You can see what topics are covered in each in the preview.
