This is an amazing resource that lasts all year! I love it!
My students are fully engaged in all aspects of these well constructed and clear grammar lessons. Students take turns helping me to present the PowerPoint lesson to the class on the first day of each theme, which enhances both their personal engagement with the material, as well as their participation in the class lesson. Students are encouraged to complete their "sketch notes" and to take notes for their "notebook activity" during the PowerPoint. Students continue to work on their sketch notes and notebook assignments as homework. The next class, students take the unmarked "Practice" assessment on Google Forms, and with their results in hand, we do class corrections and have discussion about the lesson material. We spend some class time to also help correct and improve their Sketch Notes and Notebook Activity sheets. The third class of the week is spent with students taking the Assessment Quiz and doing the Task Cards as marked assignments on Google Forms. Students are allowed to use only their own class notes (in the form of the Sketch Notes and Notebook Activity sheets) while doing the marked Quiz and Task Card assignments. This encourages the students to take good notes and to have their notebook activity sheets completed in full and on time. Following this same routine with every grammar theme has significantly improved class engagement, class discipline, and learning outcomes for my mixed classes of distance and in-person students. This is a brilliant resource and I give it my highest recommendation! I hope Teacher Thrive might develop more of these grammar programs for higher grades, as I would be the first to buy them! Thank you for creating such a fantastic resource!
My students and I found this resource very engaging.
This was the perfect resource. The information is easy to follow and I like how they provide a practice worksheet and test. Thank you so much!
Best Grammar resource I have purchased. I love the powerpoints, and the accompanying notesheets.

Not a question - but I wish the Powerpoint lessons were available for purchase separately. I don't need any of the additional components as I need to use the practice activities/games/assessments provided in my school's curriculum.
Thank you for your interest and for reaching out. Sorry, we do not sell these components separately. They are only available as part of the comprehensive program.
Hello, are the Google forms in this bundle self-grading?
Hello! Yes, all of our resources that use Google Forms are self-grading.
Hi! When I unzipped the lesson for Perfect Verb Tenses, the PowerPoint in there was for Progressive Verb Tenses. I think this is a mistake.
Hi Shabana! The file is correct, but it was misnamed.
Are the new digital versions a google form?
Yes, they are.
On TPT this resource is a growing bundle. Is this still the case if I purchase on here?
Yes. If updates are made to the resources, such as a digital update, you will be able to access those updates.

Hi. Do the Powerpoints transfer easily to Google Slides? Are the fonts saved as backgrounds? I just don't want to open it and Google Slides and all the fonts get messed up. Thanks!
Some of the "decorative" fonts are embedded in the background. However, there are a few editable fonts that won't transfer, which will require a few edits on your end.
Hi there! I love your materials! I do have a question about the sketch notes vs. the interactive notebook. Do you use both or just one of them for note taking. I have used the interactive notebook model in the past and find that it just seems to take forever for the kids to complete. The sketch notes seem to have the same information in a more simplified model. Just curious how you structure the program. Thanks!
I wouldn't recommend using both if time is a concern. We just included the INB version as a bonus because some teachers and students prefer them.
Hi,
it says that a digital version of the printables, task cards and assessments are available. What are the digital versions? Are they in google doc.?
Google Forms
I am interested in buying your fifth grade sketch notes but do not need the whole bundle do you have these available anywhere by themselves?
Hi Kayla, the sketch notes are not available separately.
Are these materials editable and can be used with google apps for distant learning?
Unfortunately, I am unable to provide an editable version of this resource because I created it using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. We are adding Google Forms versions for the practice printables, task cards, and assessment my late Aug/early Sept
