Description
Almost 70% of the English language is derived from Latin and Greek languages. When students learn these “building blocks” it becomes easy for them to recognize and decode unfamiliar words that are related to a known root. It is also increasingly important to explicitly teach students the meanings of Greek and Latin roots as they encounter the very technical vocabulary found in science and other content areas. This is the digital version of the paper-based Get to the Root of It: Book 2.

I have been using the printed version of Greek and Latin Roots with my students for years, so I was really excited to see that there was digital copy. This is amazing! Thank you for making it so easy to continue this wonderful program. It is so organized, easy to use with Google Classroom, includes self-grading forms, and has several bonus goodies!
It was very helpful during distance learning to engage students in learning Greek and Latin roots.
This series is my favorite to use, and I have the print version and the digital. Thank you for making something that I can use with all of my students! They look forward to each week! I have book 1 and book 2! I also use the Affixes series in conjunction with Greek and Latin Roots Book 1 & 2. I insert affixes between units as I want to.
The quizzes are exactly at the right level for my students!
For several years I did a root word a week in each subject. I was tired of all the paper but couldn't find a digital format I liked. Now I have. I purchased Book 1 and started using it when school closed. Now I'll have enough for the entire year.

Does this resource include a Power Point slide deck like the Book 1 does?
Are you asking about the Word & Definition match? In which case, yes, that is included with this resource.
Is the digital version exactly the same as the print version? Is there a need to buy both?
They are the same, just different formats.
When assigning work from the digital version, are you able to assign only selected pages and activities or do you have to assign all of the work for a certain group of words?
I think there are typos on the form 7Word-Definition match. Question 3 has the wrong answer in the answer key. Question 4 is a repeat of question 3.

Is the answer key included
Hi Karen! This is a digital resource using Google Forms. Google Forms are self-grading and contain the correct answers within the forms. To see the correct answers for each problem, click on "Answer Key" on the bottom left-hand side of the problem.
I am having a couple of problems. I have just started using this resource and the A section does not show up in full when accessed through a chromebook. Also section 1 E scores student as 0/0 and results pending even when they get answers right. Are sections E and F scored differently or not scored? Thank you for your help.
