Thanks for making this!
This document was exactly what I was looking for when trying to establish book clubs within my classroom. The rubric is awesome, as are the instructions for how to get started. The job descriptions are very informative and serve as a great reminder to students on their specific role within the book club. The prep sheets that are included for each job are perfect for my highest performing reading groups. This was precisely what I had hoped to find to challenge these high-level readers who need added depth and complexity and use of critical thinking skills.
The language on the prep sheets will be challenging for my lower-level readers but with scaffolding provided and lots of modeling, I believe using this resource will be attainable for them in time.
great
Loved it.

He Megan, I don't at this time.

Are teacher directions included in this product?
Hi Emma, Right now it includes job instructions for students. However, I am working on teacher directions/implementation suggestions. I'll be adding those in the next few days.
How many literature circle student roles are there? I have 10 students in one group and I want to make sure they each have a job.
Hi Tiffany. There are 8 roles in this resource.
I want to thank you for creating such a productive and resourcesful resource. I was wondering if it would be possible to align the lit jobs with the CCGPS standards? My students and I love these and I want to be able to justify the use of these to my admin. Thanks again!
Hello! I am not familiar with those standards, but that you for the suggestion. At this time, I won’t be able to add a standards alignment.
Love the set up of this! Can you please tell me which fonts you used? Thanks!
Century Gothic, Bohemia, and KG Sorry Not Sorry
Hi there! I'm new to 5th grade and love how easy this is to use. Would you mind telling me which fonts you used to create this? Thanks very much!
Century Gothic, Bohemia, and KG Sorry Not Sorry
How do you have the students fill out the student assessment rubric? For themselves or fill it out for a classmate? Is this done throughout the circles or at the very end of the novel/unit?
You can do either option. It really depends on how much time you have and your students. I would have them assess at least a few times during a unit.
Do you still have the depth and complexity bookmarks? I can’t seem to find them.
Hello! You can grab them for free here: http://www.upperelementarysnapshots.com/2016/08/depthandcomplexity.html
Can we have an editable file of this? I want to specify the quantity and specifics of particular questions without having to create my own version of this. Thanks!
Hello. Unfortunately, I do not have an editable version as I created this in Adobe Illustrator.
