I can not get this file to download and I am so disappointed as I really want to use it. It will only copy the first couple pages and that is it.

4th Grade Daily MATH Spiral Review Morning Work [Editable] Test Prep
Leslie Moen

This is not a spiral review. The weekly content has standards that have not yet been covered. Students can't have homework on things that they haven't learned yet.

Teacher Thrive

This resource is not designed around a particular scope and sequence since many teachers follow different timelines.

Since Daily Spiral Reviews cover all standards, students are exposed to concepts they may not have had formal instruction on. Unfamiliar content presents a great opportunity for you to build background knowledge and assess where your students are before you even teach a specific lesson.

The best way to use this spiral reveiw is to begin with whole-group lessons where you model and discuss each activity. I don't worry too much if there haven't been formal lessons on a particular concept; I treat those items more as a preview. After a few weeks, the students really start grasping the format, and you can begin to transfer the workload to them. Eventually, when the students work independently on the review, you will spend time correcting and discussing their work in class.

As mentioned above, students will encounter concepts they are unfamiliar with. This is a GOOD thing, I promise! We don't always have the answers or know the procedures to solve problems. It's beneficial to expose students to "unknowns"; they become less sensitive to the uncomfortable feeling of "not knowing" and are less likely to panic.

However, you can always use the editable version (open in PowerPoint) to remove/change any review items you like.

There is a problem with this resource. I purchased the digital version. However, there is no link for me to click on that gives me access to the documents virtually. I'm reaching out to the seller, please provide some guidance or refund me if possible? Thank you so much.

3rd Grade Grammar Unit: Pronouns

It was a good resource, but the inability to make any edits in the .PDF made sharing it digitally with the class nearly impossible. Very disappointed with this aspect. Good resource but this is a glaring issue.

The content was too hard for third grade. There needs to be a build in content and foundation. The skills were way over most of my students heads.

Also this is a rip off to not include the answer key with the questions. Why are you having people buy two separate things.

does this pull directly from the week's questions or are they new questions?

Hello! I can no longer use the pens on my Smartboard with this product. It says the editor has turned off commenting. I have other products of yours that also will not let me write on them anymore, like the 8th Grade Daily Language bell ringer. Can you resend the files with commenting allowed so that we can write on them? Thank you!

Teacher Thrive

Hmmm. That's odd since I have never changed the PDF permissions. I tried to reset the permissions to explicitly allow for commenting. Please let me know if this doesn't resolve the issue.

Is there an answer key provided for these?

Do you have the Google form version of the 8th grade weekly language assessments?

Kristyna Harvey

Is there a bundle with this and the spiral review?

Teacher Thrive

Unfortunately, TpT doesn't have a function that allows us to easily create custom bundles in a way that ensures customers always have the latest version of their resources, so we don't offer this option on TpT. We do have a Build Your Own Bundle option on our off-site store that you can check out here: https://teacherthrive.com/byob/

Jaime Guidry

The preview shows your 6th Grade assessment. Do you have a preview of your 8th grade assessment? Thanks!

Jaime Guidry

We're sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you so much for pointing this out! We have fixed the preview to reflect the 8th Grade version.

Christopher A.

Doing this as a weekly assessment each Friday, how much time should you give students to complete this in class? Would 20 minutes be too much time?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! The first few weeks can take a bit of time since you are walking students through the different problems. However, they catch on very quickly, and then it should only take about 10 minutes.

Sabryna T.

Does this packet include the answers like the Daily Language review?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! Yes, answer keys are included.

Jennifer C.
