Your 7th grade Tuesday paper states “A tsunami of donations flooded the animal shelter.” Is a metaphor. That is incorrect it is a hyperbole. I’m a seventh grader and have wasted 5 minuites of my time on this stupid website just to inform you that you are incorrect. Later

Do you have these assessments in a digital/google forms format?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! Unfortunately, I don't have a digital version of this resource.

Carey Fero

I see the question of these resources becoming digital or self-grading has been asked. Is it even being considered at this time? I totally understand if it isn't even on your list to do, because you have great materials. But it is an important question for me right now. With the number of things required of us. digital is a necessity.

Teacher Thrive

Thank you for reaching out! We do not have plans at this time to make a digital version of this resource.

Carolyn H.

I love your resources! Please... please consider creating digital copies of the ELA Assessments for 7th and 8th grade. I am in the process of trying to create Google Forms for the 7th grade assessments, but it is a brutal and bloody process. I love having the 6th grade digital assessments. I appreciate the time and thought you put into your resources. They really are amazing! YOU are amazing!

Teacher Thrive

Hello, Carolyn! Thanks for reaching out! We would love to create digital versions of these resources, but we are not sure when we will be able to at this time. Thank you for your kind words!!

Angela H.

I love this resource and used it last year. I see that this resource for the younger grades is in a google forms so that it can self-grade. Do you have the digital option for 7th and 8th grade as well?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Angela,
Thanks for reaching out! We do not have digital versions for 7th & 8th grade at this time. We are not sure when we will be able to create digital versions. You are more than welcome to use the printable versions you own to create your own Google Forms to use with your students only.

Diversity in Mind with Abena

How long do you find it takes students to complete the daily spiral review and then how long for these assessments? If you've any tips for managing the checking of answers efficiently, that would be great too. Thanks.

Teacher Thrive

Hello! The first few weeks can take a bit of time since you are walking students through the different problems. However, they catch on very quickly, and then it should only take about 5-10 minutes a day. If you're short on time, you may want to eliminate some of the problems each day, and then add them back students start to get the hang of it.

Megan G.

Is it possible to get an editable version of the answer key PDF, too? I would like to be able to save the answers keys separately by week to share with my students that are working remotely.

Teacher Thrive

Hi Megan. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide an editable version of the answer key because I created it using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. However, you should be able to make a copy and delete the pages you don't want to send to your students.

Tara Lawson

What is your opinion aboout allowing students to use the handbook while taking the assessment?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Tara! I am not opposed to the idea, especially at the beginning of the year.

Korzie's Class

Is there a way to change the printing so that the copyright notification does not print with every slide of the assessment? This doubles the amount of paper that I have to use to print, which limits the amount of copies I can make.

Teacher Thrive

This should not be happening. I think this has to do with your printing settings. Please contact TpT so they can troubleshoot this with you directly. https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Contact
