Love this resource! Great if you want some of these skills to be drilled into the students' minds through repetition however I wish the activities varied a little more from week to week!

Kelly S.

I tried your 1st week for free and just had to buy the entire year! Great resource. My students have created a Google Grammar Handbook to go along with your grammar lessons. Thanks!

Teacher Thrive

Thank you for your feedback! I just wanted to let you know that reformatted this resource with a cleaner, easier-to-read font, and I will be adding a student handbook soon! Make sure to download the latest version under "My Purchases."

Very Helpful!

Combo Craze

Can I just say, "I LOVE THIS!" Perfect for daily five rotations or mini lessons.

Ashley T.

excellent resource! are there quizzes to go along with the weekly lessons?

Teacher Thrive

Thank you! I do not have weekly quizzes for these. Many teachers simply give them the two pages for M-Th to complete as a quiz on Friday.

Hello! I am a new teacher, and I am hoping to use this resource as my sole grammar curriculum. I am wondering, how do you introduce these grammar concepts to students for the first few weeks? Do you cover all 20 rules the first week? It seems rather overwhelming, especially if the students are unfamiliar with the concepts.

Teacher Thrive

Hi Gretchen! I find that the best way to use this is to begin with whole group lessons where you model and discuss each of the activities. I don't worry too much if there hasn't been a formal lessons on a particular concept; I treat those items more of a preview. After a few weeks, the students really start grasping the format and you can begin to transfer the workload to them. Eventually, when the students are working independently on the review, you will simply spend time correcting and discussing their work in class. Please feel free to email me with any questions! Do you use these for bell ringers?

Teacher Thrive

Hello! You definitely can. I recommend doing the first two weeks with student before assigning it for independent work, or you can buy the grade level below if you want to use it as a bellringer right away.

Carol A.

Are the assessments for 7th grade ready yet? Also, do you just copy the pages for the kids? Project them? Or make booklets for them all?

Thanks!
Fiveallens95@centurylink.net

Teacher Thrive

Hi Carol! Yes they are available! I would recommend copying for students (one double-sided page per week). https://teacherthrive.com/product/7th-grade-weekly-language-assessments/

Lindsay K.

Hi,
Hoping you're headed toward creating the weekly assessments for seventh and eighth grade? This looks awesome!

Teacher Thrive

Yes! I will be getting to 7th and 8th too!

Michelle A.

Is there a way you can take off the days of the week? In our school, we have an A day, B day schedule, so meet Monday-Wednesday-Friday one week and Tuesday-Thursday the next. I'd like to use your items, but the students will be confused with the days of the week on them, as cute as they are.

Teacher Thrive

Hello! Yes, I can do that. Just email me with your username and date of purchase and I would be happy to send you a version without the days of the week. GotToTeach@icloud.com

Mandie Avila

Hi again! I reached out to TpT and they asked me to request a swap from you. If you send me your e-mail, I can FWD you what they said to me. Would you be able to swap out the product? I can only give you good faith that I did NOT save the document.

Teacher Thrive

Hi Amanda. I prefer that you get a refund and then purchase the item you need. This way you will always have access to the latest version on TpT. Do you mind forwarding me the email they sent you? This way I can initiate a refund for you:-). GotToTeach@icloud.com

Math from the Middle

I just bought this. I was wondering when you were going to add a Google Slides version of this for us to put on the SmartBoard?

Teacher Thrive

Hi Tyler, I would like to in the future, as an added convenience for teachers. In the meantime, you should be able to import the files into google slides yourself to use in Google Classroom. Let me know if any of the PDF security permissions are giving you issues with doing that.

Buyer

I love this product. It provides a stronger foundation for my students to build upon their English. Thank you for the amazing product!

Teacher Thrive

Thank you! I am so pleased to hear this from you!

Courtney R.

So, if I purchase this resource and you end up converting it to google slides, will I have to repurchase or can I download the updated version?

Teacher Thrive

I will be adding this version to my current items so that all original purchasers have access to the the digital version as well. No extra purchases required:-)

Courtney R.

I would like to project this on my smartboard each day for either bell work or a lesson. Would it be possible to get this in a word doc format so that I could edit places where it says - circle here - ? I'd like to have students put their answers in a doc on google classroom. Going green and saving paper :)

Teacher Thrive

Hello Courtney! Unfortunately I do not offer editable versions of my resources. However, I will making many of my resources (including my reviews) in Google slides so that they can be used digitally. I will be doing this over the summer!
