Great Unit for Struggling Readers at Any Level
This unit plan is great for struggling readers at any level. I used it with secondary readers after I noticed they were struggling with some of these words. We spread it out, doing a little practice each day over a couple of weeks, and I think it really helped them!
Great Note Taking Tool
I've used the 4th grade version, and when I had to teach a 4/5 combo class, I just new I needed to snag these note pages up for my 5th graders. The note pages really help to fill in some gaps that our district curriculum has.

Hi Erica,
Although this doesn't meet a specific 5th-grade standard, I included it because it is an essential skill for estimating decimal products, which is a 5th-grade standard. I always try to include foundational topics that are important for understanding some of the topics required by state standards.
