Hi, I have owned this product for years and I really like it. I like most of the changes you made when you updated it, except I miss the part with the possessive nouns. Unfortunately I had already disposed of the previous version before I noticed these were gone. Is there any way to get a copy of the older version that had that because I'd really like to have that for my students to practice and would prefer to use it in the place of the pronunciation practice on Wednesday.

I have only recently found your store and am in love with the resources you are providing! My question is this - do you suggest pre-teaching any of these concepts before you start the weekly? Sort of a "language boot camp" or reference sheet to which students can refer?
Or, do you just recommend teaching the content as you go?

Hi Mendy! I really just dive in with this resource and teach as we go. I start off using the resource whole-group, where I model and we discuss each of the items. I do this for about 2-3 weeks. Then I start having them do them in pairs, small groups, or independently. This is followed by a whole-group discussion of the answers, etc. It's a bit of a challenge for them at first, but by 5 weeks, they are off and running. Please let me know if you have any other questions. :-)
I just purchased this product, and am looking forward to using it, but i am only finding the answer sheets. Are there copies of the sheets without the answers already in it so I can display it on my board or do I need to retype everything to use it?

I have never had an issue before with printing anything I have purchased from TPT. I have already gone to the troubleshooting to see if it is an issue with my printer and it is not. I really appreciate this daily review; however, these are skills that the students have yet to master and if most teachers are following a plan it is much harder for the students to complete. What do you suggest we do for this?
Hi Matoya! The resource is designed to be a preview and review. Even though the concepts increase in complexity as the weeks go on, you will find that in the beginning, you will be doing more of a preview with the student where you can model for them. After several weeks, your students will be very familiar with the content and format of the review and will need less and less modeling. Stay the course! I promise you will be so surprised with the progress that your students will make.

Hello, You recommend that the students use a computer and Google to search for the origin of the various idioms on Monday. (I LOVE THIS) however, week 2 Monday has the idiom "blow smoke"
Although I know the school appropriate version of this idiom, google brings back some rather rash meanings about blowing smoke up someones A**.
I'd consider changing this idiom out for another as many vulgar things made it through our school's internet filter.
